Frazer, rebooted?

No, not really. I have however started to play around with gwEm's excellent YM-vst and made a few tunes with it. Definitely not Ym-music, but maybe someone will like it anyway :D

http://www.myspace.com/rebootedfrazer is the place to find it.

Cheers everyone!

I wasn't a big fan of the game. Yes, it was fun the first 20-30 minutes, but it got repetitive after that. Yes, it was rather repetative... But the real fun wasn't in the game itself, it was hearing your mates swearing and shouting all kinds of obcenities when they they got killed (I admit that I d...

Oh snap! I'm pretty sure that legal copyrights do work in the same way as patents, but I'd like to hear a law pro rule on this one. Don't know how things are in Canada, but at least in Swedish law you own the intellectual rights to anything you have created without any form of registration. As far ...

Forget CS and all other LAN games of today, we kicked each others asses with this LONG before anything else appeared on the market. :D

Terrorpods was quite nice, but I can agree that I never got the hang of it... One of the reasons I guess was that I played it on my family's old TV... That red text on black background became a real blur and was near impossibe to decipher. My main strategy was mostly cruising around and blowing stuf...

Well, I've never heard sounds like the buzzer from a SID... But that aside, it still wouldn't be the same the same as a "YM-Station"... Deep down you'd know it's not the real thing :D

Why not a complete synth, something similar to SID-Station? Now that would really rock! :D

I like all... but as evolution goes on for Atari ST music i see no reason for musicians to go back to beep only... unless the CPU time is needed ;-) Of course everything moves forwards, and I would never have dreamed of the sounds and techniques that exists today when I struggled with Blipp-blopper...

Tons and tons of great ol' tunes out there, hard to pick favourites and make a list out of them. One of the more underrated musicians in my opinion is Dave Whittaker. Not that his soundroutines were too great, but I always kinda enjoyed his melodies in games like Xenon and Quadralien.
