Re: SNES core

In this example, while playing 'Super Metroid' using reset causes a screen from 'Chrono Trigger' to appear during the reset process. If I play Bob and use reset, there is no such screen appearing.

Re: SNES core

On 824 Mister 908 I've noticed when I reset from Chrono trigger a scene appears. If I load super Metroid it appears also - persists when I reset. But if I load say Bob no such image appears. I'm not sure if this information is useful but I found it interesting and maybe it is not relevant with lates...

Re: NeoGeo topic

Core is brilliant. I never got to play these games growing up, so for me now it's all a new experience. I've already found some games that I like a lot. I was especially surprised by Windjammers. Thanks for all the hard work.

Re: Commando Arcade in MiSTer

So this arcade core will not get an official MISTer release? I mean, it won't be listed under Arcade Cores on the MISTer github? Or is that planned for a later date?

Re: MiSTer NES Core

I noticed playing Faxanadu when entering buildings the Sprites fall down into position. This is noticeable in the starting town. Some places outside as well. Not the chapel though. I'm playing US. Maybe it's a setting I'm using? 719 build. Anyone else experience this?

Re: HDMI audio stutter

I thought maybe my tv digital out was handling the audio strangely, as I get a lot of missing sounds especially in music as well as sometimes when there are lots of different sounds at once. Where it is most noticeable is NES, like in Ducktales opening it sounds quite bad missing half the notes. In ...

Re: SNES core

I was having lots of issues with Snes core, but I've loaded the Core at least 50 times now with 824 without any graphics glitching at all.
Mister 820, 627 OS, 824 Menu - current build. Batman Returns also looking good. Are you up to date with everything?

Re: SDRAM board

I think the 90 MHz is unrelated. I'm on my third ram board and still having issues with SNES core. Yoshi island has a lot of glitches. Unless no one is playing enough to test there must be something wrong with my de 10 nano. I had to play through the whole 1st world quit and come back later before I...

Re: SDRAM board

So I'm testing my second SDRAM board and both so far are failing almost exclusively at 90MHz ( like the red number just races up on 90 MHz). I've got problems with lots of glitches in SNES games and sometimes freezing. any idea why my SDRAM is passing all tests but not 90MHz ? I've ordered both time...

Re: Newbie questions

So after multiple mem tests errors are starting to show. Sometimes it runs for up to 4 hours with no errors. But on some boots I get errors immediately. I don't know how the test works but running it once for x hours is probably a bad way to test. Only on certain boots do I get tons of errors. This ...

Re: Newbie questions

Nope. I was wrong. I still have same issue. Is there a specific frequency ram test to run? Or just run them all?

I found a development SNES core before latest release and there are no issues now. I've had no other issues in other games.

Re: Newbie questions

I ran memtest for maybe an hour, didn't have any errors. I'm using usb daughter board with it's own power supply. Sometimes the issues in Yoshis Island go away. So it doesn't always have glitches. This is with NTSC rom. I've tried Japanese one too, revisions 1 and 1.1 all sometimes have these glitch...

Re: Newbie questions

I'm having issues with Yoshi island on most recent snes core. Is something wrong with my de10nano or ram ? there are blocks in random places, some of the spinner objects don't move. Yoshi heads glitch around. I've tried a few different versions. I'm gonna check my ram module in the mean time. Someti...
