Re: Ghosts 'n Goblins vs Ghouls 'n Ghosts - Which Is Best?

I know it says Arcade version in the post but as I have only played them both on an ST it must be Ghouls 'n Ghosts for me, superb graphics and really hard, got immersed in the game way too much.

Ghost and Goblins just didn't hook me and drag me in like Ghouls 'n Ghosts.

Re: BAD DMA - Myth or fact ?

Btw, the "1v pulses" are crosstalk from a nearby line while the particular line is in "floating" state. So just another indication for a bad circuit design concerning the DMA stuff. Yep , I really wish the internals of the ST chips were published, it would make life so much easi...

How many Firebee's are being made? We don´t tell publicly. For very very good reasons. What's the uptake like? Please read our news at http://acp.atari.org I've been away from the scene for a while and Firebee was vapourware at the time. Aha, you are the first one in the worrld, who ever titeled Fi...

Re: Mega 4 floppy trouble

Hi, - When I power on the machine, the floppy drive light blinks, then stays on and it starts stepping. - After I end up in the desktop without inserting a disk, the drive LED stays on. If I now insert a disk, the LED goes off. (normal?) All normal, mine does exactly that. What floppies are you usi...

Congrats on all who have brought it to this stage, i suppose it is being marketed as the follow on to the Hades and Medusa type thing.

Shaky SM124 display

Powered up my Mega ST4 and SM124 monitor for the first time in years this weekend and was met with a Shaky display. It was usable but long periods would definitely give me a headache, it seems the higher I stuck the brightness the shakier the screen was, basically horizontal shakiness in a few place...

Re: Spectre GCR

Good news bid, I found my MAC system disks and even ran up Spectre GCR again 8O , seems like it is running 6.0.8 I have 6.0.5 and 6.0.8 the Spectre manual says 6.0.5 works fine and only mentions upto 6.0.7 but as i have 6.0.8 running fine it shouldn't be a problem. If you want a copy of either 6.0.5...

Re: WANTED - Spectre GCR

Hey Bid, As mailed you separately, you need the Apple System disks already in Mac proprietary format, 6.0.5 is the best version for Spectre GCR, i had 6.0.3 and 6.0.5 and found 6.0.5 more stable i think. It has been a while but when I will try and find the site I got the system disks from, don't bot...

Re: Anarchy In The UK

To be quite honest look at the 'kids' on the TV actually doing it, they're all school age and as it's August they haven't got any school, all bored and want something to do, so a punch-up with the police and some criminal damage is perfect. Every August there used to be some 'trouble' in some 'Briti...

Re: Connect TT to the internet?

Falcon should be simple if you can get hold of a Daynaport SCSI device off ebay. Basically turns SCSI > Ethernet if you search on here I think one member has a web site dedicated to it with drivers etc. I have that very device!! Also I assumed that it would be suitable for the TT, which has got ext...

Basically if you get the latest HDDRIVER you can run them all together on the basis you have unique ID's set. Using ICD software and any other and you will get alot of pain.
