Re: LCD Monitor Suggestions 24" IPS 1080p

Hi all, as per title, I am looking to get a new external monitor to use with Mister, so that I can have an extra location if I don't want to use the TV, unfortunately my 27" 1440p gsync is not great with Mister (depsite trying all different resol settings and 720p upscaled is a blurry mess whe...

Re: Power Supply - Will this work?

DON'T PLUG! your new power adapter, it will fry your DE10-Nano in seconds since your power adapter output rating is 19volts! Any thing above 5 volts will not work and risk damaging your MiSTer. As for the current, anything above 2Amps at 5volts will work fine. Some people as successfully use a USB ...

Cheers for replies, no i have not used hwtest is that a program for testing sd cards? I got the sd card on ebay for £18 so it was cheap but looks to be a proper sandisk and in original packaging but maybe its a fake not sure how to test it. That card is almost certainly fake, eBay is rife with knoc...

Re: Bluetooth Speaker

Most bluetooth speakers have an AUX port, if you have an IO board you could just use a 3.5mm audio cable...? The DE-10 Nano doesn't have in-built bluetooth and even with a bluetooth USB dongle I'm certain pairing speakers wouldn't work as sound would have to be routed via the Linux sub-system to be ...

Second is making use of meta data and statistics and allowing for people to do things such as show what you played in the last month or year or cores based off of use time. With that data can come to the third making use of that data for opt in sharing allowing to show what is popular what your fri...

Re: MiSTer frontend future

I'm quite happy with the current user interface, it is concise, tidy and unbloated. I just need to navigate the menus quickly and select the games without any fuss. I love the new 240p frontend from the rgb-pi os. Maybe something similar will not add to much load for the MiSTer. https://www.youtube....

Re: Smart USB and CIFS searches, how to use?

Format a USB drive to FAT32 or NTFS.
Add your games to the drive in the same directory format as the micro SD.
Connect drive to MiSTer.
Games will appear in the menus just as is if they were on the micro SD.

Re: Is my DE10-Nano Broken?

I have a brand new terasic de10 nano board which I've tested with three different PSUs, three different displays and three different hdmi cables. Only combinations that does not work is when I use my board with the screen I intended to use it with. Then the screen remains black and the status led t...

Re: RGB out to scart CRT TV help

With 1k + 100 Ohm on the IO board. the sync voltage will be a bit too low ~0.211volt p.p. SCART TV's require 0.3volt p.p sync so 560 or 680 Ohm is better. Yes, that is generally true - but for some reason later model Trinitron TVs have messed up colours when the sync is above 300mV. Ah ha, thanks. ...

Re: Joystick mapping revamp?

I'm experiencing exactly the same bizarre behaviour since the mapping revamp with my 8bitdo USB adapters and SF30, M30, N30 etc. I've not had time to hook up USB debugging yet but everything works fine on MiSTer Main builds prior to the revamp. I will try to post the output log later this weekend. T...

I should have mentioned earlier, but I'm seeing a black screen after hitting F12 and selecting a ROM. I have the same problem. Did you find an answer? Unfortunately I never found a solution. I just updated my Mister again yesterday with the updater script and all the cores continued to work after t...
