Re: Newbie questions

I'm a long-term user of Mister and think it's fantastic. However, one question I have on the TurboGrafx core ... I see quite a lot of pixel crawl in games like Gunhed when scrolling horizontally. Does anybody else see this and if so, can I stop it with a setting? Genesis and SNES cores look great - ...

Re: Anyone here hope for MiSTer developer interviews

Just listened to the Retronauts podcast with SmokeMonster. Excellent, really excellent. I learned a whole lot from it. It's reasonably technical but really worth a listen! Highly recommended! And if you don't own a DE-10 Nano, get one bought immediately (only heard about the Intel subsidies on this ...

Re: NeoGeo topic

Hi everybody,

Just to underline, if you're happy with the work these people are producing please think about donating. I have no idea how many hours they put in (I guess many!) for the joy of others but a few euros/pounds is a great way to say thank you (along with the comments too!).

Re: NeoGeo topic

Hi, I'm also struggling to see games in the list. I've ensured the checksums match my files but I can't see the games when I open the core. Any pointers? Below is the file structure in my root folder. Thanks Apologies, found the problem. I thought I'd copied across the new Mister and Menu files and...

Re: HDMI audio stutter

I use a Samsung UE model TV on game mode without issue. Have you tried the TG16 core without the RAM add on board to see if you get the same behaviour? That would at least remove that as a potential problem.

Re: FX CAST Atari ST core

Can somebody advise on how I can get FX Cast to run in 4:3 please? For some reason, some TVs / monitors want to run this core in 16:9 regardless of the menu settings. The Vizio TV I used to have my MiSTer hooked up to always rendered it in 16:9. I moved it to a different Vizio monitor and on that m...

Re: C64 Core

Many people use the option "vsync_adjust=1" in their mister.ini. That option lets mister match the refresh rate of the core even over hdmi. But not every tv will sync to off-spec video. You can create subsections in your ini as well for any cores that need special options if you find some...

Re: C64 Core

Hi everybody, Newbie question here so apologies if it's dumb! Are most people using Mister and the C64 core outputting to a CRT? I'm having issues across all cores with running a completely smooth horizontal scroll (whether this is PAL at 50.9Hz for the C64 or NTSC Genesis @ 60.2Hz). I appreciate it...
