Re: TV Static background changes at random?

This interesting that it changes based on various factors. I've noticed mine changes after MiSTer binary updates. I love the static as my background. I think a still image would be pretty boring.

Re: Joystick testing thread

I have successfully test the newish Neo Geo mini pad that came out about year or so ago. You'll need to us a USB type C to male adapter but it does work well with the MiSTER

Re: I/O Board

Anyone know how I could go about adding external LEDs/Buttons to the I/O board using the female white connectors near the corner? I don't really have a reason but it might be a neat little baby project

Re: NeoGeo topic

Does anyone know of a way to save the region and arcade/console preferences with the Unibios free version? It defaults to Europe/Arcade every time I launch a game. Yes, I asked this same question. Once you've changed the region you need to save to the memory card in the OSD. On next start up it wil...

Re: MiSTer on Commodore 1701 Monitor

Hi there, I'm wondering if it's possible to have a video output compatible with Commodore 1701, which would be either s-video or composite. So far my plan is IO Board VGA and this adapter. https://www.monoprice.com/product?p_id=2509 Would this work? If you have any other suggestions for minimal lag...

Re: NeoGeo topic

Can you post some comparison pictures between MiSTer and your NeoGeo console? Of course! NeoGeo OriginalConsole2.jpgMiSTerFpga2.jpgFpga1.jpg I have this same issue with my Sony Trinitron. I'm also getting the same thing on a PVM-14M2U. I could manually adjust it but all the other cores seem to be f...

Re: NeoGeo topic

When using the free unibios 3.3, is there a way to save the default boot mode from Europe/Console to something else. It's really not that big of a deal, but it would be nice to not have to press A+B+C every time at boot to change it. I like to use USA/Arcade for MVS mode. On a real MVS (MV-1F) arcad...

Re: Newbie questions

I currently use use RGB for the vast majority of my MiSTER use. The problem that is that using RGB limits me to PVMs and while it looks fantastic, I still want to use S-Video/Composite on other old CRTs and this 1702 Commodore monitor I have on my desk. I've tried using VGA to s-video/composite chea...

Re: PVM boys, check in here...

I have a 20m2u and a 14m2u. I don't really use the 20" but I use the 14" pretty much everyday as my main MiSTer display on my desk. A bit off topic but does anyone know anybody that services PVMs? The 20m2u I have isn't looking as sharp it used to.

Re: Gameboy core

Alright, the Gameboy core is pretty good looking in RGB but I still like the LCD_Effect filter for HDMI. It's kinda strange because I prefer RGB over HDMI for all cores that support it but with Gameboy, I'm not 100% sure. It's always nice to have options though.

Re: MiSTer Web Control demo

Alright so being able to use this as an alternative OSD keyboard makes this web control thing really cool. Would it be possible in the future, to be able to use this for any of the computer cores for typing, like for the C64 core?

Really easy to setup but not really useful unless the game is paused. It is really really neat though. I really hope this gets developed enough to be able to play through a web browser without lag. Thanks posting this, I love new MiSTer tricks

In case everyone forgot by now. Jiffy DOS will not load tapes, you'll need to use the original C64 kernel.

Re: Mister menu runs at 50hz through OSSC

Could we please get a 60hz NTSC analog menu though instead of PAL? I know that it's possible to do get it by manually adding in Kitrinx's custom hacked menu. While most PAL TVs accept 60hz, the only NTSC TVs that accept PAL are PVMs. So, for compatibility's sake, NTSC would be best. I second this. ...
