Re: Connecting MiSTer to a CRT

I'm trying to figure out how to edit the .ini file remotely, as I get an annoying Windows message every time I plug the Mister SD card in again. You can edit the .ini file remotely by configuring Samba. Basically just rename /media/fat/linux/_samba.sh to linux/samba.sh. See https://github.com/MiSTe...

    ao486
    BBC Micro Master 128K
    Minimig
    MSX

Re: Odyssey2/Videopac Core

I have tried "Killer Bees (Europe)" in Videopac mode which is a Videopac+ game.

When invited to "select game" I tried the digits 1, 2, 3 etc on the keyboard as well as the buttons on the joystick. I never enter the game or exit the demo mode.

Which format did you use? FAT16 or FAT32?

I don't remember. If you have the choice, go for FAT16 if you are interested by DOS since FAT32 came later with Windows 95.

Press F12 to bring the menu then "Load File *.PRG" to select the PRG. From Commodore BASIC, type RUN to start it.

The *.GBC that you see in the menu is to load Game Boy Color black colored cartridges that were also compatible with the original Game Boy.

Thanks for this new core, I have tried "Prendre l'argent et fuir (France)" and it does not seem playable in Videopac mode. I move a bit in the first labyrinth and it seems to automatically switch to the following ones.

Re: SNES core

Just put a renamed game into the SNES folder. Rename it to boot.rom. Then you will get a picture on VGA output. I used the SNES Test Suite und now every time I start the core I get the test suite (even on VGA) Ok the boot.rom mechanism works on my side but I only have video on HDMI, nothing on VGA.

Re: SNES core

you need to use any game ROM as a boot.rom, so SNES will start with preloaded game and will provide the video. Thanks, I am not familiar with boot.rom, is it just a SFC file renamed to to boot.rom? I have tried: injector SNES_20181207.rbf game.sfc new.rbf and (game.sfc renamed to boot.rom): injecto...
