Re: First time install won't pass DE10-Nano boot screen

Hi there, I am a first time user. I got my unit with the I/O board, the sdram, otg cable and case. I have done everything exactly on how to setup my sd cards and when I turn on the Mister, it just show the Terasic bootscreen. I am using the HDMI output and it just displays the DE10-Nano bootscreen....

That list is now out of date, BinaryBond007, as is the video I did about this. The best way users can find out what works is to use the link Sorge posted above.

Re: MiSTer Logo Design

I really like the way Racketboy's text looks in the new MiSTer article he just published. It's a couple weights of the Futura font.

The CRC-32 of the correct riscos.rom is ECAC4EA6

Re: "MiSTer PC Engine CD & TurboGrafx-CD Begins"

I wasn't being over enthusiastic unless you ignored the article itself. The work is at an early stage and Ash welcomes anyone to look at the code and help out. It could be weeks or months away from completion depending on the amount of support we can rally for it. There has been zero movement on thi...

Re: Would MiSTer ever be able to run a Neo Geo core?

Support for Unibios would be awesome and it should just plug in exactly like the stock Neo Geo BIOS. But, most of its features (except cheats) could just be programmed in the menu too as an alternative. Unibios is second nature to those of us with Neo Geos though, and is very slick and polished. Fee...

Re: Atari 2600

Awesome update--tons of new games are now playable. Most games set as the boot.rom seem to break the core however, preventing you from being able to cleanly switch to other games. Casino and other very early games work as boot.rom though. Most boot.rom games cause some kind of unclean state issue th...

The Game Gear's screen measures 65mm x 50mm, for an aspect ratio of 3.9:3 or 10:13

Edit: Actually, the Game Gear's system resolution is supposedly 160x144, which would be a perfect 4:3

Re: Mister menu runs at 50hz through OSSC

Could we please get a 60hz NTSC analog menu though instead of PAL? I know that it's possible to do get it by manually adding in Kitrinx's custom hacked menu.

While most PAL TVs accept 60hz, the only NTSC TVs that accept PAL are PVMs. So, for compatibility's sake, NTSC would be best.

Re: Mister menu runs at 50hz through OSSC

Oh, that makes sense then. Thanks for the response.

I had another idea for the menu. Could folders appear as a different color than files? That would make browsing a little more elegant, and is what many flash carts do in text menus.

Re: Mister menu runs at 50hz through OSSC

Shouldn't the analog menu just default to NTSC? Also, why is 720p the MiSTer.ini default instead of 1080p?

I'm just curious since people ask me this all the time. An analog NTSC menu and 1080p HDMI would have better compatibility with most users' setups.

Re: MISTer (Main Core)

MacPlus & ao486 work fine having their RBFs in _Computer. Their files however must be in root if that's what you mean, but that applies to most cores. I actually love the MiSTer organization, since it's easy to keep all cores together in groups and separate from content. Makes my life easier at ...

The Updater Script has changed my life. It's absolutely perfect.

Could the script please be added to the SD Card Utility?

Also, could we please get a /Config/Scripts/ sub-folder dedicated to holding scripts?
