Re: SNES core

What's with all this incredible progress? I feel lazy all on my own without needing to see all this great code being done as a reminder.

Re: TI-99/4A on Mister (based on Speccery's)

@GreyRogue First off I want to say I'm enjoying the Ti-99/4a core you ported to the MiSTer. I was wondering if you could fix one thing on the core? If you reboot the core by doing LCtrl+LAlt+RAlt the boot ROM doesn't reload, but if you do a Reset through the OSD it does reload the boot ROM. Is this...

Re: MiSTer updates and changelog

TI-99/4A: - Fix the reset combo and the reset button. - Add controller swap option, and additional common controls (enter, back, redo). - Fix STCR status flag. It looks like it should be updating the Higher than, Greater than, Zero and Carry flags. --Fixes controls for Ms Pac Man --LDCR probably nee...

Re: TI-99/4A on Mister (based on Speccery's)

After getting the boot ROM built, I was able to fool around with the TI99/4A core tonight. It mostly works great, but I ran into a strange issue in one program, I'd be interested to see if anyone else can reproduce it. It's the program, "Barrage". If you're not familiar with it, it is sor...

Re: Request for TI994A on Mist FPGA

Hello all, i miss TI994A very much and just guessing if a Mist FPGA core version would be possible.. i know that there is already a Mister version.. maybe a conversion from that? Thanks in advance Roberto Converting the one I did for MiSTer should be straight forward. I based it on the Colecovision...

Re: MiSTer NES Core

Both Battle Kid and Battle Kid 2 work fine for me with the copies I dumped from my carts. The current mapper 30 code assumes 4-screen-vertical means 4 screen mirroring, and 4-screen-horizontal means 1 screen (which agrees with Black Box Challenge). If you did the opposite when you dumped your cart,...

Re: MiSTer NES Core

Just to let everyone know, I was able to dump the new Battle Kid Famicom rom that came out recently and it works fine on the NES core. I didn't think it would work because Battle Kid 2 doesn't work right now and they both use Mapper 30 (UNROM 512) so I don't know but it works somehow. I used a Copy...

Re: Genesis / Megadrive core ported to MiST

please send me a "mist_io.v" for this https://github.com/gyurco/FPGAPCE/blob/master/Board/mist/user_io.v In theory, the PC-Engine core already supports 5 controllers via multitap. Don't know what game supports it, and also I don't have 5 controllers to try it. But would be good to have a ...

Re: TI-99/4A on Mister (based on Speccery's)

It's what I did but my problem is probably because my tiroms.bin is 238KB. But why ?? I did it on XP machine and win10, same results 238KB..... I accidentally checked in some WIP code. It needs a new build to work correctly. I will perform a new build soon with the new scalar. Until then, use the o...

Re: PCEngine core issues with roms?

- what kind of rom is Street Fighter 2 wich ha some graphic glitches ? Street Fighter 2 is 2.5MB. It requires RAM banking to work correctly (and enough RAM/address lines to address it). Re: PCEngine core issues with roms?

I didn't fix anything in CPU or VDP, so don't expect a Gensis level compatibility, just ported the Huc6260 from MiSTer, since it gave a good centering for me. Game compatibility should be the same as before (e.g. Afterburner doesn't work), but it's now stable for me at least, no more freezes. If yo...

It might not mean anything, but I notice that NES and SMS use unsigned audio (AUDIO_S=0), while Genesis, TG16, and SNES use signed.

Something completely wrong with scaling happens when output resolution is 1920x1080 and input resolution is 256x224 (240p Suite test pattern, or for example game Clue). Large portion on the left has copy from the middle. Probably some overflow happens inside. 20181107_180831.jpg Ok. I think I found...
