This isn't a selling forum, so don't want to get into details. If you're interested, send me a private message.

Re: The last MIST

I may be putting up a MiST 1.3+ on eBay shortly. I find myself with multiples and can't really justify that. Going to hold onto my newly acquired 1.3 and ditch the plus I think. If anyone's interested, ping me. Would like it to go to someone who'll appreciate it.

Re: Genesis / Megadrive core ported to MiST

This core uses *.bin-files only as format for rom images. Plus try PageUp & PageDown to navigate faster through list. SBWin converts between popular formats of Megadrive rom images. The problem is that for many of my ROMs, a blank line is shown instead of the name and everything after the first...

Re: The last MIST

Thanks Kujako, i'll probably end up buying a genuine MIST in that case. Does anyone know if the ST core is still being worked on and how it stacks up to a real ST . I'm learning m68k assembler at the moment in my spare time, trying to recreate some of the old demo effects. Using steem but it's just...

Re: The last MIST

With this no longer being produced was wondering which was the best alternative to buy. My main interest is for ATARI ST and AMIGA, may try a few of the other Cores but those are the main two I want to use. Is it worth still buying a MIST as I have seen a few floating around on Ebay or look for an ...

Re: Amiga/PCE etc cores and OSSC.

But the image is awesome, from Scart to HDMI. :) What are you using for the VGA to SCART (from MiST to OSSC)? Yep :) But what specific VGA to SCART option are you using? Home made cable, Arcadeforge, etc? VGA output which is not really VGA - this is the main problem of MiST. You will bury int into ...

Re: Amiga/PCE etc cores and OSSC.

But the image is awesome, from Scart to HDMI. :) What are you using for the VGA to SCART (from MiST to OSSC)? OSSC is not a scaler actually. It's scan doubler/tripler. Understood, and it works on scan lines rather than frames like the Framemeister. Still debating which is preferable for me overall....

Re: Amiga/PCE etc cores and OSSC.

Not OSSC but great stuff is happening with the cheap (<€20) GBS-8200/8220 upscaler. There is custom firmware which fixes loads of issues with the original Chinese firmware. You have to do a bit of soldering but the parts are cheap. https://github.com/ramapcsx2/gbs-control/wiki/Build-the-Hardware In...

Help me remember the name of this game...

Amiga/PCE etc cores and OSSC.

The wiki for upscalers is a bit out of date, anyone have any experience, positive or otherwise, with the MiST running through the OSSC to a PC monitor? Looking for a better solution than what I have now (though it's working well enough).

Re: Mist Power Supply.

How are you measuring the voltage? Odds are you're fine, the DC-DC voltage limiter on the MiST should just dump the excess voltage as heat (not much of it since we're talking about .3v). If it's really a concern you could put a voltage regulator inline, but that would be redundant since that's more ...

eBay is easier I think... and it's odd that he doesn't have the 1.3+ on his site but does on eBay. Either way, you're buying from the same person.
