Re: MiST core and firmware changelog

you can do it like mister does it (the order could be different but is something like this) - first try to find the rom in core folder (now we can have folders - Thanks)) - second try to find the rom in bootrom folder - third try to find in the root of sd card we can also have in ini the full path ...

Re: Updated ST Core?

I would ask you to have some patience please. Maybe I made a mistake to announce this work publicly, it was too early. It's not for public use. I only wanted to know if the external interfaces - which I cannot test - are still working. Better to forget this branch for a while. If someone wants to t...

The host card must be SDHC even if the vhd is small.

Using a FAT32 .vhd file solves the last two easily.

Re: How actively are you using your MiST?

Slingshot thanks for replying. Yes I do use other cores otherwise I would be a very expensive spectrum. I read on github that latest spectrum core has divmmc/esxdos support which should load z80 snapshots easily, but I do not know how to boot esxdos. According to all readme files on GitHub concernin...

Re: Sinclair QL

I resolve the mistery. QLMSDBIN.ROM and QLXSDWIN.ROM must stay inside QL folder. Don't work if they stay in root folder (thanks Slingshot) But... this configuration doesn't work. [ql] section is last one: [mist] scandoubler_disable=1 ; set to 1 to run supported cores in 15khz mouse_boot_mode=0 ; set...

I do it, but don't work for me. Put them to both root and ql, the firmware will pick up from either of them :) Why do you need the old driver anyway? First of all, I 'm authentic n00b on Sinclair QL system. I'm beginning to know QL with MiST. I've 2 image files with QL software: QXL.win and QL_BDI....

Hi. Re: Acorn Archimedes

Configurable sync type output is not implemented in the core, however even a *Configure MonitorType 0 doesn't have an effect on the video mode. Maybe the EDID data is hardcoded somewhere, just don't know where. How the Archie reads it? But here's a core with 24MHz VIDC clock, try it if you want. It...

It's BS, the problem is that the CPU cannot resetted after RISCOS loaded into memory, or other initialization problem, doesn't matter what's on the SD-Card. This superb core has the problem that it must be alone inside SD card without other cores, and renamed to core.rbf. It doesn't work if it is launched from the menu core. Could this problem be solved so that it could be launched from the menu core and could share the SD with other cores?

Re: [ZX Spectrum Core] New Update

GeneralSound up to 4MB is already implemented on MiSTer version. As for MOD player, the TSConf (ZX mod) core is much more suitable. It would be fantastic if there was a TSConf (ZX mod) core on the MiST board. There is already in other similar boards like the ReVerSE-U16 https://zx-pk.ru/threads/235...
