Re: My new, compact Atari -> VGA adapter.

I can't really compare, all I can compare to is a regular ST to SCART cable on a B&O MX4000 CRT TV which shows no or little of this issue.

But it could well be a problem of the Mega STE itself that only shows up with an LCD monitor.of course, do you have a link or other info to solve this ?

Re: My new, compact Atari -> VGA adapter.

Well I've been using it for a while now and Im happy with it but it's not perfect. First of all, there is no manual. I can't understand why sellers cannot make a small manual on paper and include it with the product. Second, the button is extremely small and doesn't provide a clear feedback to the f...

Just to clarify a few things: ⋅  ⋅ the price includes "everything", one of the most frustrating things during Jookie's endeavour was people wanting a zillion different configurations, combinations and setups and then of course complained that it doesn't work as they im...

Re: CosmosEX 3.0

We are not talking about a mass produced China device here but rock solid custom tailored quality from Eastern Europe by Atarians for Atarians. Really ? That Raspberry Pi is hand produced in Slovakia ??? MMmmm... And that custom PCB too ? Mmmmmmm.. I bet both are produced in China, not that that is...

Re: My new, compact Atari -> VGA adapter.

I'm thinking more and more about putting it inside my MSTE. I think it would be easy enough to put it on the spot where the RS-232 connector on the VME position is now. Who needs three RS-232s ? The "only" thing to do is wire all monitor connector signals from the PCB to the VGA adapter......

Re: My new, compact Atari -> VGA adapter.

Yesssss finally available :)

Quick question 1: does anybody have a nice case design that I can't 3D print ?
Quick question 2: since it doesn't fit the Mega ST, will it fit on the Mega STE ?

As an alternative I might try to hack this inside of my Mega STE....anyone ever done that ?

Atari SM-146 monitor pictures and info

I couldn't find very much info about the inside of the SM-146 monitor. I recently managed to buy one in Germany for 25 euros and it was in nice condition but I could still see some slight yellowing an I wanted it to match my Mega STE which looks like new after retrobrighting it. I mainly bought the ...

C302020-002 = TOS 2.05 ROM (2Chip) EE-Chip United Kingdom C302021-002 = TOS 2.05 ROM (2Chip) OE-Chip United Kingdom Yeah I found that info, but I was curious about the B trailing that number....
