Re: C64 Core

Just a quick couple of questions.... Firstly this Core is easily one of my favourites and most used, great work on this. Some demos, such as http://csdb.dk/release/?id=149405 detect "emulated hardware", it still works of course but I was just wondering what it is detecting in the FPGA impl...

Re: ao486_20180101.rbf Corrupted HDMI Video

I also get exactly the same problem as you, and I am using ao486_20170824 which works for me. The video corruption in ao486_20180101.rbf was so bad I couldn't even see the dos prompt.

Re: Pi-top case for MiSTer

Ok yes this is a nice idea! I saw someone post an RPI3 setup specifically for booting uae4arm and use as an Amiga Laptop, they had the green version. It would be very very cool and appealing to me to have a MiSTER in the old black unit that you mentioned. So I guess at some point I might have to giv...

Screenshot Dumping?

Is there a way to dump a screenshot from the frame buffer using the OSD Menu? This would be reeealy handy in many respects, not only for sharing and debugging problems with others... Right now I am in Amiga, not in WB so may use heartmon. But I can see it being a really useful feature that would sup...

Thank you <3

Just a quick thank you for this MiSTer project and all the core programmers and developers. I have had this thing less than 1 month, and it has already given me so much pleasure that justified its purchase beyond measure. Still much to set up and do but already it's in daily use. It has quickly beco...

Re: Minimig (Amiga) core discussion

So after getting home and spending about 20min with the new core, here's what happened for me.. Core loads and proceeded to boot my default config into Workbench, but halted here: http://tinyimg.io/i/spkq09i.jpg So, cold reboot, and boots into WB fine... In fact it seemed quicker and snappier than b...

Re: Minimig (Amiga) core discussion

launch demo and hard crash. which demo? I know this would be helpful information, but I honestly can't remember. However I can tell you that when I repeated each time in the current core I used the same demo to test. Also the Graphical corruption which was happening on my first run (but not the 2nd...

Re: Minimig (Amiga) core discussion

Tested it out with my full WB3.1 config, which is a hybrid of CWB and my own setup and configuration, using 2 full hdf hard disks... On using the new core I was just opening some windows to load a whdload demo and i started to get graphical corruption on the screen before I even launched anything. S...

Re: Minimig Audio Options

New release will have Stereo mix option, so you will be able to choose 0%, 25%, 50%, 100% mixing. Amazing, thank you! This does help a lot! Might make a video to show the effect in action, though that depends on your own audio setup too when watching it lol.... either way, i can now track on the mi...

Re: MiSTer: MiST on Terasic DE10-nano board.

I can attest that the terminal and FTP works pretty well from a computer. It's actually pretty neat to fiddle with Linux while the FPGA core is running. I highly recommend using that Ethernet port :D I have only had my MiSTer setup for one day but already agree with you, I have been managing the fi...

Re: Minimig Audio Options

There is no option for mono output. All devices are stereo couple decades. It's hard to find the mono audio today. Though in 80x situation was opposite. Well the amigas stereo is hard panned left and right with no stereo positioning (unless using a software mixer like AHI)... this kind of stereo do...

Minimig Audio Options

Are there any? I've checked the Mister config.ini to see if I can force audio output to mono, but I can't see that I can. Cannot see any audio options in the minimig core for this either, unless i'm missing something? For Amiga with its hard left/right panned stereo channels this would be really use...

Re: Only 1 single core working

If someone had a basic setup image they could share, no roms just a few cores, that i could write to my sd-card, if that worked then I would know it's the setup process itself and not the card at fault, and actually I would then know if the DE10 was faulty or not too, if it is obviously i'd have to ...

Re: Only 1 single core working

Well that card didn't work either, it works with the default linux though, so it does suggest something is going wrong in the partitioning and writing side of things. But i've setup on 2 Win10 PC's and 1 Linux PC, with 3 different cards, same result. I'll come back to this later...

Re: Only 1 single core working

Well getting kind of sad about this now, feels like a lost cause, going to have to check this board in fine detail. I setup on another Win10 PC with no AV running, same shizzle same errors. I then setup using Linux, same shizzle same errors. I'm not angry at you guys, you're all wonderfully awesome ...

You can try, if you have a usb hub - run core from an external USB-stick Hi azesmbog, thanks for the suggestion! :) I tried this, and while the exFat formatted USB stick shows up with all the cores as it should, I still get black screen, no video and lockup. I am going to setup the card manually no...

Re: Only 1 single core working

I reformatted the FAT partition as exFat and tried again, exactly the same errors, will try fixing in windows, failing that it's over to Linux to set up the card :)
