Re: Backgrund image in Teradesk

And I managed to find what the problem is. :) In xaaes.cnf file there is: #menubar [0|1|2} #hideable menubar # 0 : off # 1 : on # 2 : always on (default) menubar=1 If I set menubar=1 when backgroud is from Teradesk (igonored background from xaaes) If menubar=2 then it is OK What do you think about ...

Re: Backgrund image in Teradesk

I no longer have a Falcon + Radeon and don't remember if this background thing worked but I do remember some weird graphical issues that were happening only on that setup. Maybe this is one of them?

Re: Backgrund image in Teradesk

Yes of course I understand. but until now I used the settings directly in Teradesk Optiond in menu Window Options you have Deskop pattern and desktop colours, and I have for example all green background. I would like to remove and use the backround from Xaaes. What version of Teradesk are you using...

Yes, PmDoom in Falcon 16-bit mode works perfetly on FireBee with current beta FPGA :D

Great! And how is it speed-wise? Is it fast enough to be playable? I don't remember if there's a CF version of PmDoom but I suppose not?

Yes, 16-bit "works" (it does not crash), but only on the top half of the screen :x

just out of curiosity, do anyone still remember what kind of evolution Papyrus went through? I can see at least four different "streams" (latest known version to me): ⋅  Papyrus X (10.20 with some FireBee beta build based on this ?) This is news to me. Where did you read that? A...

Re: GEM resource file to *.png converter

Really interesting idea. I'll try it as soon as possible. I do have have to mention though that there was already a Rscview from Holger Weets. I think RSCtoPNG or something like that would be better suited to what your program does.

Indeed. Where do you people get this idea? There's just one version, and this is made quite clear on Rajah's website:

"STinG or MiNTnet+Gluestick TCP/IP layer needed."

Edit: beaten by Rajah :D

Re: Apollo Team announces developing of Vampire standalone version to run as AMIGA and ATARI ST

FreeMiNT memory protection for 68040 can't be used, but this is not a big problem as it is an optional feature. To me this is a showstopper. I see no reason to buy another "Atari" on which I can't use memory protection. Memory protection is an invaluable tool when you're developing on an ...

Re: Teradesk Redraw Issue

My take is this: Change it to flying dialogs instead, sure you do not get real-time redraw with that. Also you are moving a Teradesk object (dialog box) and the icons are under control of teradesk, so Teradesk should issue itself a redraw for the icons. Will do it and report it back. But if this fu...

This will show the Parent back arrow and allows to close directly windows with closer instead of going backward like on standard TOS desktop.

That's what I have already and it's not working. Is this option working for you?

Closing wndows with Teradesk 4.07

Is there a know change with the latest (V.4.07) Teradesk with regard to the closing of windows? To close a window with the close button I have to travel all the hierarchy until I reach the root drive. Before, it closed the window directly (like the "Close window" menu option does). Or am I...

There are several utilities that allow launching a program from a menu, like Taskbar or Start Me UP. As for launching a program from the desktop menu, the only one I know of is AtMenu, which, from memory, might only run under MagiC.

I've found a nasty bug in 2048: it crashes if I try to edit any of the editable fields in the Preferences. It works fine with the 1.2 version. This is with the V4E version.
