Re: BBC Micro

Hello,

Updating my previous posting, it appears that Uridium does work, but only via VGA. Via HDMI the display is corrupted.

Re: No VGA output - IO board broken?

Possibly, if it can be done with an ordinary voltmeter. Can you point me to some instructions on which pins to test? Meanwhile, I've tested it some more, and it is very intermittent. However, I have found no wiggling or anything else that can make it go away or come back. I'm wondering if it might b...

No VGA output - IO board broken?

Hi all, Suddenly my IO board is giving no VGA. Everything else works both on the DE-10 and the IO board.. The monitor and VGA cable are OK. The VGA came back a couple of times for a while but is now seemingly dead. Is there any other possibility other than a busted VGA connector on the IO board? Tks...

Re: Refurbishing my Atari ST - keyboard question

Hello, Thanks for replying to my question. Since I posted the question, I essentially tried everything that you suggested. I took the keyboard apart (again) and cleaned the problematic contacts as thoroughly as I dared with alcohol. The result was that the "4" key now works, and the "...

Refurbishing my Atari ST - keyboard question

Hi all, I hope I am posting this in the right place, this is my first post in this part of the forum. I recently decided to get my old Atari 520STFM (ugrapded to 1MB) working again. I bought it new in 1987, and it's been in the attic for years. I was very dirty, literally packed with dust, so I dism...

Re: Acorn Archimedes

Hi all, The "MiST" hard disk mysteriously mounted perfectly in Arculator 2. I have no idea why. Yesterday it totally refused to cooperate. Anyway, I was able to copy my ADFFS files over to it and test it on MiST. The result is that it almost works. I was able to briefly play both Lemmings ...

Re: Acorn Archimedes

However I was stopped dead when I found that the disks were mutually incompatible; I can't mount the Arculator disk in Mist, or the Mist disk in Arculator. I am not a great expert on Riscos, it's just something I've always wanted to play with, so I'm not sure where to go from here. You have to choo...

I decided to see if I can get ADFFS to work on the latest Mist core. I have the Mist core running ...

Re: FX CAST Atari ST core

Hi,

I read elsewhere that the FXCast core can support SMSQ/E. Is this still true on the Mister?

SMSQ/E would be a fantastic bonus if this is true.

Re: ao486 Core with Win95 ?

Hi all, [I originally posted this in "Newbie questions", but this seems a better place. I deleted the original question.] I was successfully able to install Windows 95 on the ao486 core yesterday, using the 22 diskette set. It seems to run very well, however I find that under Windows 95 I ...

Re: Newbie questions

I notice there seems to be no "swap joysticks" option on this core, could this be something to do with it? There definitely IS swap joysticks option, but I do not remember what it is called. Thanks. I found it. I hadn't realised that the OSD menus are scrollable. I'm pretty sure that they...

Re: Newbie questions

Hi everyone, I assembled my MiSTer yesterday. Everything seems to be working OK with one small exception - the Commodore 64 core does not seem to work with my very generic controller pad. All the other cores that I have tried do work with the controller. I notice there seems to be no "swap joys...

Re: Newbie MISTer question (sound)

Thanks.

For some reason, the TI994a core did produce sound one time. I have no idea why and I have not been able to make it do it again.

Re: Newbie MISTer question (sound)

OK never mind. I remembered that the Megadrive core runs without SDRAM, and tI'm getting great sound from that.

I'd still be curious why I get no sound from the TI though...

Newbie MISTer question (sound)

Hi all, I've been using MIST for several years and have decided to try MISTer. In the mean time, I just have the Terasic board. I will get the SDRAM board soon. For my first core, I have managed to get the TI994/a up and running, but it has no sound. I am set up for HDMI audio and the volume on my m...

Re: Acorn Archimedes

I'm afraid it still won't work on my Mist (a 1.3+) I just get a black screen. I have tried almost all of the cores, and this is the only one that does not work at all.

I'd be happy to help debugging it, but I know nothing about FPGA programming.
