Re: USB Hub board

Use Drag solder for the FE.
Hotair don’t work well with 0.5 Pitch.

Re: Colecovision and Sega cores don't work right

Why don’t you use the automatic function?
Just press ‚a‘ - will start at 167 and reduce automatically on first error.

Re: Colecovision and Sega cores don't work right

It make no sense. The Core with the highest speed is Archie with 128MHz. And even if it works on my desk with 167MHz it doesn’t mean that it will work on your desk with 167MHz. Depends on the DE10, your power supply and other things. The Ram is 6ns - this means that it‘s on its boarder with 167MHz a...

Nice - but you should add Pin 12/14 as GND - it's maybe then more clear for some people.

Well - I really have to use google that this construction is called PWM-DAC .... :-) From electrical point of view ist a RC-Low-Pass of 2nd-order .... With Corner Frequency of about 28kHz (28421Hz) and a -3dB-Frequency of about 18kHz (18291Hz) followed by a decoupling capacitor .... Typical (often u...

We do not loose anything - it's an (great) addition - so feel free still to use the 8bitdo receiver

Re: Introducing alternative USB HUB Board

This is what unclear to me. From one side it's not BT classic, but from other side i've saw some examples to use nRF51/52 as a BT keyboard. It's actually reverses to what we need but anyway it works somehow. To make it short: It's both called BT, but thats (except for the frequency range) all that'...

Re: Introducing alternative USB HUB Board

I will go in 3 steps: 1.) CH551G with TCA8418RTWR - I2C connection done via BitBanging 2.) add ESP32 while the CH551 is still master and sends the keycodes via SPI to ESP (that does the BT-HID) plus LiPo Charger and LDO 3.) get vUSB on ESP32 running and eliminate the CH551 - if this works the vUSB w...

Re: Introducing alternative USB HUB Board

Considering the popularity of 8bitdo (and mayflash) it's better to keep in mind the dimensions of these dongles. It's basically impossible to use USB and DB9 at the same time unless you use extension cable. Sorry I can't confirm this: SideViewWith8BitDo.JPG FrontViewWithe8BitDo.JPG DB9with8BitDo.JP...

Re: Newbie questions

Sorgelig, the Polymega is coming soon, are you afraid for the future of MiSTer? :D Why should he? As he's doing it for his own fun and is so nice to also give it to us - WHY SHOULD HE? He needs no commercial success .... nor can the Polymega HW anyhow reach the performance of the DE10 as Intel is s...

So basically the the Schematics are 'final' (OK, I'll skip also the orange LEDs in the next version - for now I'm just not solder these). I can also upload the Gerber-Files to the git - no problem - if I remember till tonight I'll do this tonight or tomorrow morning. If you just need the PCBs - I st...

Re: USB Hub board

It works - got my DB9 - Type 5.09 - only possibility as all Aliexpress sellers send normal types .... Do not expect the price given - the amount we need is too small (the DB9 have anounced for $0.1-$0.2) - at the end I've paid about $1 per piece - try with direct chatter. Definetly not at easy as Al...

USB3150 - FU** -even the price is a little bit insane!
Why not use the one I'm using - OK, the row with the 5 pins is a little bit tight to solder, but I'm using normal 1.6mm board - works good - and they are cheap :D
