Default Velocity Cubase

Hey, does anyone know what setting changes the default velocity when drawing notes? Can't find anything in the manual and the default is super quiet. Also if anyone knows how to edit note length on entire note groups that would be helpful too. Thanks! Took me a while to figure out to hold Alt when e...

Re: MiST - new joystick/gamepad mapping

Tried the new CD32 controller version of minimig 1.2.3. Button mapping is way off. R button maps to nothing, L maps to pause/menu. I and II are switched. X and Y are rewind/FF. Start and Select are III and IV. Is this meant for DB9 only or does it need a firmware update? Is your mapping works with ...

Re: Using MiST to drive an Arcade Vector Monitor

I'd love to see black and white vector gaming and keep the audio. There is already a Vectrex core for MiST, that outputs to a regular raster display. http://www.atari-forum.com/viewtopic.php?f=115&t=33150 However, this might be adapted to output Real Vector Graphics to a Vector Monitor. If conn...

Re: Using MiST to drive an Arcade Vector Monitor

I'd love to see black and white vector gaming and keep the audio. Audio is just way too important to sacrifice for color. Maybe some super high quality DAC's from the H-sync/V-sync to the X/Y amplifier could do the trick though.

Re: Using MiST to drive an Arcade Vector Monitor

Well it looks like you should be able to output X/Y over the VGA.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?time_cont ... fBwz_SiK8s

Tempest uses a Wells-Gardner 6100. Not all vector game boards are designed for all vector monitors, but could probably be adapted. I've never seen it though.

Re: Amiga CD image

I figured it out. My CD0 got corrupted somehow, but also the file rename is to take an .iso and make it .iso.hdf for future reference to anyone wanting to use CD images. Still displays the filesystem may not be usable message in the OSD, but works like a charm.

Re: Amiga CD image

Yea, that's how I got it working that and the video for mister, but I had to do something different for MiST because the file extension .iso.img isn't recognized by MiST like it is on MiSTer. Maybe it's the new core? Never got the OSD message saying filesystem not recognized before.

Re: Using MiST to drive an Arcade Vector Monitor

You could probably implement a vector VGA scan converter in the FPGA, but you'd have to get a hold of one to map it out and they are expensive not to mention rarely available. They probably use some closed source FPGA actually. Contact them, may be open to assisting a project. https://vectorvga.com ...

Amiga CD image

I had CD images working after a bunch of research, but lost my files and am reinstalling everything. Been trying to mount .iso.hdf files or .img.hdf ones and when I mount them in the OSD I get the message filesystem not recognized, which I never got before. I completely forgot what CD image files wo...

Re: Controls in menu, not in games

DB9 on mist only supports Amiga/Atari/MasterSystem style controllers, the pin for using a genesis/megadrive controller isn't connected to anything. USB controls need to be mapped correctly to work. Sometimes you may need to disable 6 button mode. There is a windows prog in one of the threads here if...

Woah, it's amazing. the second release with the VGA centering worked much better for me on a NEC 1530 Multisync. LSDJ, Metroid II, and Kid Icarus all work with data saving as well. This is amazing. Yea, I'm using an NEC Multisync 1530 and that gives a flashing screen. Testing on Vizio VO370M, VGA converter box, and GM60 projector. Starts up fine on the tv and projector. Kid Icarus freezes when going to start menu. Lsdj does nothing after nintedo logo. Converter box had no effect. Metroid 2 sti...

Nice lots of SID options now 8) To test them out, can someone upload a collection of dual SID .d64 demos/audio disks please. Hmm, maybe a scan quadrupler. I doubt it's displaying in 320x288 or 160x144. Wonder what it's configured to display as. Will try different screens and see if anything works. Thanks for the tip.

Re: New 6526 (CIA) Implementation for the C64 core

Wow stereo 6581 is great. Surprised some of the mixed mode waveforms actually make sound. It would be cool to select registry location, but probably hard to do on the fly. My actual C64 dualsid setup has a switch for the second sid to go from registry $D400 to $D420 so even in mono arrangement it pl...

Re: New 6526 (CIA) Implementation for the C64 core

8580 seems to be peaking a lot now on the 190131 release with the filter. Running hitmen monumentum demo and there's a lot of filter scratching going on. I guess it's just more apparent now. the really bassy high res filter stuff is clipping like crazy.

Oh snap, thank you. Cannot wait to test this out. At least one pair of controllers I have should be fully functioning.

It works! Very well, all buttons can map now. You're my hero.
