Re: RARE VINTAGE ATARI 800 COMPUTER SYSTEM (MINT)

Buyer beware with claims of MINT. One time I fell into this trap with a MINT C64, seller angled all pics to hide damage and stated as fully working. Seller refused a return and PayPal rejected my claim. PayPal said I bought a used product and should expect fair wear and tear (including the fact is w...

Re: New SID 8580 implementation for the C64 core

Hi Sorgelig , could you kindly update your C64 core for MiST with recent updates of SID8580R5 from Rayne and your enhanced adaptation&fixes of C1541(floppy subsytem) for MiSTer? Thanks! Also @gehstock also updated the MIST core to enable EasyFlash eAPI support (no writing). Perhaps this can als...

Re: Joystick testing thread

https://www.ebay.de/i/232908040742 Long story shortened, I couldn't get anything on the SERIAL screen inspite of connecting correctly like described in the WIKI. Anyway.... It actually did work, defined right/left/up/down/B1 and skipped the rest. Was able to play NES with this USB->DB9 connector. T...

Re: Joystick testing thread

I have 2 issues with ÚSB joysticks: 1) https://koka-shop.de/competition-pro-usb-koka-exclusive-edition.html I bought the USB Comp Pro. I was able to define directions and buttons over the core menu, and it worked fine in the menu. However I can't get any response in the NES core. 2) https://www.ebay...

Re: C64 Cartridge support

Can't you extract the game from .crt as .prg format? it is a 128kb Ocean cartridge and does various bank switching to patch in graphics (cutscenes), sprites and charsets. So the short answer is no, however there is a working .D64 version available on various BBSs. The loading times do interfere wit...

Re: C64 core problems.....

I have been playing around more with EasyFlash CRTs trying to figure out why they don't work. Disabling the eAPU (ie jsr EAPIINIT) helped a little. I was able to page though various banks, however at the end there (seemed) to be nothing in memory.

Any tips on how I might debug on a MIST FPGA ?

Re: C64 core problems.....

What is the likelihood of getting EasyFlash CRTs working? Simple bank switching only. I guess use of the eAPI will probably never happen (doesn't work on 1541u2)
