Hmm, September'94. Isn't that a C-Lab Falcon MK II by any chance?

It has an Atari Falcon label on the case. Is there a way to identify a C-Lab Falcon by looking at the PCB ?

Re: Falcon serial numbers

No, only your case could be. Open it and look at the PCB, that's what matters. I will next time I have physical access to the system. Unfortunately this won't happen for a long while. On the contrary, it's the only known reset of the numbering: https://mikrosk.github.io/clockpatch/history.html#seri...

The reason could be that the same PCB could work for different video standards, so it made sense to produce motherboards in batches and the...

Re: Falcon serial numbers

My Falcon (Germany version) has this label on the bottom: Y 44C 02 3004144 I have inserted the spaces where I see discontinuities in the string. It seems that the last group (3004144) has been printed by a different entity. If the date decoding algorithm described in this thread is correct, then my ...

Re: Processor comparisons

The entire comparison table in the OP is quite a bit off for different reasons.

At same clock speed, 68060 is faster than Pentium for integer but usually slower for float.
In any case, a Pentium@233 is several times faster than a 060@50, and that is not even considering MMX code !
