Re: New Joystick Introduction!

Interesting !
An absolute killer feature would be to be able to jump using the second button, instead of pushing the joystick upwards. That would make platformers much more enjoyable !

Re: CosmosEX 3.0

I was really disappointed not to be in the list at first, but all things considered, I think I did well. I understand this is a niche production, but this lack of communication is really unacceptable for the customers.

Re: Scumvm

Taken from Atari.txt in Scummvm 2.0.0 Atari 68020-60 zip : "The MT32 emulator is disabled, Timidity is disabled, Scalars are disabled, and FLAC support is not built in. Otherwise, all of the included libraries, such as OGG or MAD, are built into each release and are running the latest versions ...

Re: Scumvm

Same here, can't open the option tab. If i do, the program stops. I use Scummvm 2.0, don't think there is a newer version for Atari.
I can select options if i select a game first, but not the general one.

ST midi and MT-32 options are there, but don't seem to have any effect.

Re: Scumvm

I'm not a musician, but wouldnt't that imply that you also need some hardware to plug into the MIDI port, like the above mentioned Roland MT-32? The MT-32 is a midi Synth. You can plug any midi device in the Atari and it will receive data and generate sound, but most games were programmed with the ...

Re: Scumvm

I think what Sturm means whether the Atari ST MIDI support is enabled. It should be compilable but I'm not sure whether it's enabled by default. Would be nice to have this confirmed, how well this feature works. Exactly. I never managed to use my MT-32 with the Atari version, whereas it works fine ...

Ok, thank you :-)
Last question, did you enable midi and should i try to use my MT-32 or is it disabled like every other Atari version ?

Re: Scumvm

Will try them too. Do I need to put your executables in the 2.0 folder and just run them instead of the original file ? Nothing more needed ? What about SDL ? They say here https://www.scummvm.org/downloads/#extras it's mandatory. But where to put the file ? Sorry, newbie here.

Re: Fighter Stick MD-6 (Megadrive) on Atari

I will probably try to do this mod too :

(Mod the stick to be able to jump using a button), so i think i'll have to do it on the board anyway.

Fighter Stick MD-6 (Megadrive) on Atari

Hi, Some time ago, i decided to buy a stick for using on my Ataris. Thought Sega Sticks were compatible with Atari/Amiga, so i found a Fighter Stick Md-6 from Asciiware in a local store (there was no official joystick available). https://images-na.ssl-images-amazon.com/images/I/61o9caczXaL.jpg From ...

Re: list of all ST games using MIDI Sound

For info, i downloaded Larry III from d-bug, http://d-bug.mooo.com/, but unfortunately this version had the MT32 support removed (as mentioned in the readme.txt) i've been able to reactivate it by copying "Music.prg", "MT32.drv" and "Music.rsc" files from Police Quest I...

Re: list of all ST games using MIDI Sound

That's really sad Monkey island 1 does not use midi music :| I can live with the reduced palette compared to the other versions (Amiga has 32 colors and PC has 256), but the music is really bad too 8O Will have to play the PC or the Amiga version Yellow_Hot_Colorz_PDT_31 Yellow_Hot_Colorz_PDT_31 Wou...

Netusbee speed

Hello, i use a Parcp-usb and it works like a charm. The only problem is, it's rather slow when you need to transfer large files. So i was wondering if a Netusb would be faster ? I could not find any info about its speed. At first, i was looking for a CosmosEX, but seems ppl who ordered one from Atar...

Re: CT60e is coming :)

Just out of curiosity, are there any reliable sources for 68060 CPU's? According to lore almost every 68060 from China is fake, especially if advertised as genuine Rev. 6 CPU. There's couple of sellers at ebay who list their products as real Rev. 6 version, but I don't know if chinese CPU market is...
