Re: NEW OR UPDATED ARCADE CORES

Hi!

Tried the new CKong core, the same issue as in case of Bagman on my Samsung. With BenQ works fine, thank you (Darfpga and Gehstock) for your efforts!

Have a nice weekend: Gábor

Re: NEW OR UPDATED ARCADE CORES

Change back to Dars Line Doubler Hi! Me again, better late than never! Unfortunately new cores are incompatible with my Samsung TV (tried both VGA and RGB - the result was 'no signal' or black screen), and the BenQ monitor syncs new cores' video very slowly. If scandoubler is disabled the picture l...

Re: NEW OR UPDATED ARCADE CORES

Sorry for being so late, but I was not home at the weekend. Tested all the new arcade cores with the following results: 1. All of them have trunctated video over VGA, the right side of the image is missing. No problem via SCART/RGB, NTSC compatible 480i signal. 2. Crazy Climber seems to be the most ...

Re: New Amiga core beta :D

It's strange, tried with WinUAE using the recommended settings (68020 CPU, 2MB Chip RAM and WB 3.0/3.1), and it works flawless...

Perhaps this bug report will help the developers to improve the core!

Re: New Amiga core beta :D

Hi! Tried to play 'Monsters of Terror', without success. Downloaded many different versions from the author's (Lazy Cow) website and EAB's zone, but none of them worked. Tried many cores (1.2.1, 1.2.2 & 1.2.3) with different firmwares (from the one released in the january of 2017 to the most rec...

Re: MiST Cores - What do you want to play today?

Hi! I have an idea: what if we would recommend our favourite games to eachother? Popular cores (C64, Amiga, Spectrum...) don't need this publicity, as you can google many recommendations and toplists. But rare, uncommon or near unknown computers deserve this kind of commercial in my opinion. To give...

Re: Oric Atmos core

Ok thanks, but i give up makes no sense. Someone will fix the Issues I'm sorry to hear that, but I undertand your frustration: without a working MiST it's near impossible to debug the cores. Unfortunately most of the MiST users (including me) don't have the necessary knowledge to help you during po...

Re: Apple I core

The main problems are in my opinion that nobody who is familiar with original systems (Apple One and Orao) is interested to help porting these cores, and without a working MiST it's near impossible to complete these (or add similar) functions. As usually, I'm very grateful for your tireless effort m...

Re: Vectrex vhdl

Perhaps it's because the Vectrex was not so popular and marketed only in small quantity (no one knows exactly, but certainly under 500000 pieces were sold, see details here: http://atariage.com/forums/topic/59575-vectrex-numbers/ ). Only a few people owned this console, and have nostalgic memories a...

I think it's a '31kHz only' core (I couldn't switch to interlaced mode pressing long the middle button - didn't try to edit mist.ini yet).

Re: Vectrex vhdl

Hi!

On my MiST+BenQ BL912 combo it works flawless, albeit the picture is a bit off-centered to the right (see screenshot #1).
Video output is unusual 640x500@57Hz (screenshot #2), which ruins compatibility with most monitors.

Thanks for your continuous effort to make this core better!!!

Re: Some interesting vintage computer's FPGA reimplementation

Nice findings! If EAR input would be implemented I assume the first thing to do would be to build an adapter based on the wiring diagram attached. I own a mist 1.3 without MIDI interface, so there won't be a problem to connect the daughterboard to the motherboard. But this is obviously not a solutio...
