Re: MiST - new joystick/gamepad mapping

It has definitely no microswitches, but seems to be robust enough not to break after a short period of using and has 8 buttons... I'm looking for the Competition Pro Anniversary Edition you mentioned as well... I've a lot of Atari standard joys also, but as the MiST has only two classical DB-9 ports...

Re: MiST - new joystick/gamepad mapping

My 'The C64 Joystick' arrived just now: https://retrogames.biz/thec64-joystick/ Tested it briefly, and seems to be 100% compatible with MiST! All four directions are OK, and the buttons are mapped correctly, the default order is A B Sel Sta X Y L R. Of course they can be remapped if necessary. It's ...

Re: New webpage created for Mist & Mistica!

Hungarian school computer cores are missing as well, you can find them on the author's homepage:
http://joco.homeserver.hu/fpga/

Perhaps the HT1080z is the most interesting among them on international level, as it's basically a Tandy TRS-80 Model I clone, near 100% compatible.

Re: VGA => composite to a CRT TV without scaling?

I don't know, but it's likely a full analog device without frame buffer, so delay should be minimal. And it's recommended for use with arcade boards, because of this negligible lag is required. It merges the 3 color components (red, green and blue) with sync signals to composite/s-video out, but no ...

Re: VGA => composite to a CRT TV without scaling?

If you want to use the composite input of your TV by all means, I recommend this RGB-to-component converter: https://www.aliexpress.com/snapshot/0.html?spm=a2g0s.9042647.6.2.30034c4dYq4QBP&orderId=88507370264438&productId=502847877 It's relative cheap, and provides an acceptable picture qual...

I have a 24" Sony Trinitron TV (NTSC), and I want to hook up my MiSTer to it. I'm experimenting with this VGA-to-composite adapter , rather than using HDMI, in the hopes of reducing the display lag as much as possible.... Unfortunately this cable is not appropriate for the MiSTer, the amazon p...
