Re: New feature: YPbPr/RGsB output

Tested the cable, and it works very well! Tried all the cores supporting this feature, and all of them worked fine in progressive mode. Set scandoubler_disable option to 1 my main TV (Samsung LE40B650) had issues with two cores: the fpga64 in NTSC mode, and the Apogee BK-01. In these cases there's a...

Re: Genesis / Megadrive core ported to MiST

Just tried DuneII, altought it has some graphic glitches, it is well playable. With sound it would be even more fascinating!

Thanks for your fantastic work!!!

Re: MiST - new joystick/gamepad mapping

My problem solved: Bought yesterday a Thrustmaser T-Flight Strick X in a local IT store. The salesman was very pliant and alowed me to try it out before purchase. It's fully MIST-compatible, all the directions and the 12(!) buttons recognized properly. It's price is also nice, 30 Euros. I recommend ...

Re: MiST - new joystick/gamepad mapping

I already rewired my old QuickShot II Plus - good enough for the 2-button cores (NES, SMS, PCE), but the Genesis core needs more - at least 3 (A, B and C) & Start.

Re: MiST - new joystick/gamepad mapping

Just tried it with Apple ][ core, the result is the same (missing 'right' and 'down' directions). I own a Speedlink Competition Pro DB9-version already, and really like it (I've the impression during playing that it's indestructable). Altought is has four different buttons, they all do the same, as ...

Re: MiST - new joystick/gamepad mapping

No, they don't. All other actions (left, up, A, B, Sta, Sel) appear here, but the right and down doesn't. The VID and PID numbers are the same as seen using the Win7's device manager. Tried on Windows, everything is working fine. I can move the cross in every direction during calibration, as well th...

Re: MiST - new joystick/gamepad mapping

Hi everyone! I need some help. I used only "ancient" DB-9 joysticks so far. Now, as the Genesis alpha core became public, and the Genesis controller has at least 4 buttons (A, B, C and Start) beside the D-pad, I decided to use my Genius MaxFighter F-16U joystick as an USB controller. My ma...

Re: New feature: YPbPr/RGsB output

I ordered a Philips BC547C NPN 45V 0.1A TO92 transistor, the capacitor is 100uF 16V 105°C Low ESR 5x11mm -TEAPO electrolyte type, the resistors are 680 Ohm 0.125W carbon and 1 KOhm 0.4W metal type, hope they will do the job.

Re: MiST VGA upscaling experiments

Thanks for the schematics! Yes, the BK0011M is the only core that's 31kHz video output can not be handled by my old LG L1734S monitor: it says 'out of range 49Hz'. Perhaps any of the other three USSR models would give more compatible result: their 720x576@50Hz would be acceptable by your capture card!

Re: MiST VGA upscaling experiments

Nice to read about it!!! It would be a big advantage, both of my LCD TV has 'component in' connector (YPbPr), and my main TV, a Samsung LE40B650 is very picky in aspect of VGA signals: it handles standard VGA resolutions well (mainly NTSC cores with 640x480@60Hz/800x600@60Hz output), but it's enough...

Re: New MIST core: PC Engine!

The picture is scrolling vertically in TV mode, I think this core has separated H- and V-sync in 15kHz mode instead of composite, so it's not compatible with 'standard' minimig VGA2SCART cable.

Nothing similar:

hynix 948EA
H57V2562GTR-75C

On my Turbo Chameleon 64 the MSX core works flawlessly.

The ZX Uno is not bad either, but it has only one joystick port, i need more! ;-)

I use now a 2GB TeamGroup microSD with adapter for the MSX core on my Turbo Chameleon 64, works flawless. I don't understand it, it's the same core, the same author...
