Schematic ATARI IDE IF V2 & & Flash TOS x4

Hello all, I try to merge all schematics of ATARI IDE IF V2 & Flash TOS x4 from http://atari.8bitchip.info/astams.php My idea is create PCB with flash memory for reduce the wiring. I delete the part 6 ROMs, not need if i place 2 x ROM on PCB (it seems logical to me) But i see on ATARI ST IDE IF....

Hi,

Forget this post.
I have installed the 3.6 of GFA, now all works.
This morning, i have sometime crash of 3,5 GFA with CE_DD enabled or microCosmos connected.
Is not problem of CE_DD.

MicroCosmos and GFA

Hi,

My config:
TT 030 4/32MB TOS 3,06 FR
HDDRIVER 10.02
Boot on CODE/SRC (SCSI2SD)
MicroCosmos
Xboot

If i enable CE_DD (in XBOOT), and launch GFA 3.50 and F1 for load i have crash and return to GEM.

I am the only one with this problem?

Thanks

Re: Can you solder surface mount? (new hardware)

Hi, I create many PCB in SMD (http://www.gossuin.be) in small quantity. I use stencil and oven (size 10x10cm) for soldering, the stencil is low cost 9$. I limit the size at 0805, for ic i have not limit but not BGA, but is more easy is the chip is soic or tssop. But is PCB as components in both size...

Re: My new, compact Atari -> VGA adapter.

I use Da Vinci 1.0A from XYZprinting. It's plug and play printer, no time to loose for assembly the printer. It's not perfect printer, but a this price is good. Just the price of ABS cartridge, but sometime i found at lower price. My brother as Ultimaker 3, the printing is very more good, but the pr...

Re: Alternate TT hi/VGA adapter

There will be a new batch soon (but now is the Chinese new year) The Floppy is powered from external power supply. DB9 would be nice, but those are on keyboard and would need long wire... It could be splitted from the keyboard connector, but that needs crimping connectors and splitters and stuff --...

Monochrome only:

and the problem is the same.
If I plug in another screen it works.

Re: My new, compact Atari -> VGA adapter.

Hi, I found why i have many problem of stability. The 12V on DIN 13 it's very limited in current, in schematic of 1040STE the 12V is in serial with 1.2K resistor, the max current is 12/1200 = 10mA. With led, the current is to big. I have started this project because the assembly cable on web (eBay) ...

Re: My new, compact Atari -> VGA adapter.

I'm stupid, I do not check the regulator's sense. With the 7805 (TO220) the input is on the left, with 78L05 SOT89 it is reversed. (The manufacturers do not simplify our life).

I have only 3V, probably the AVR not write in eeprom at this voltage.

Sorry for disturb.

Thanks

Re: My new, compact Atari -> VGA adapter.

I have same result with original code, but i see in code "saveTime 2000000"
i nedeed to press 2 second for save ?

What the value of state in monochrome and color ?

I have tested with add: EEPROM.write(2 , 2); it's works, the value is stored in eeprom at address 2

Thanks

I have not burn bootloader, i use avrstudio & atmel ice with ISP for programming. The epot is not connected at the AVR, the current is 0,75uA at Max 3,5uA, is very low. For the Led i have used 470R = +/- 6mA, only one led is enabled. In the code added this: #define monochromeLed PB3 #define colo...
