Re: MiST VGA upscaling experiments

LKV353 accepts scandoubled RGBHV (48Hz/50Hz) video through VGA input. Although sometimes it's not well centered. But can you see the whole picture? I have the GBS8200 scandoubler and (at least in my TV) the image is shifted down aprox. 20-30px (plus border) and GBS8200 has no position adjustment fo...

Re: New feature: YPbPr/RGsB output

None of these video timings (48,128,pentagon) works in progressive modes, i'll try with Lenkeng LKV353 scaler, hopefully it should work.

Thanks ;)

Re: New feature: YPbPr/RGsB output

I've tested the YPbPr cable with my TV and interlaced modes works perfectly, but progressive ones only works for Amiga and NES cores, For Spectrum 576p works at basic/128k menu but loading games just get black screen, and for 576p C64 core always get black screen (NTSC 480p works fine). It seems tha...

Re: AGA core for mist

so which one is broken? the keyboard-to-joystick emulation with ScrLock or the joystick control of the OSD (keyboard mapping from joystick)? keyboard-to-joystick emulation with ScrLock is broken, OSD joystick control seem to work properly (as long as you don't press keyboard F12 to open OSD and joy...

Can you detail a sinple way to test the joystick emulation? At each ScrLock keypress, NumLock and ScrLock leds had to cycle to select these modes (this don't work in 160613+ versions): NumLock and ScrLock leds on: Mouse emulation Numlock led on: Joystick 1 emulation on numeric keypad (8 -> up, 2 ->...

Re: Sega megadrive/genesis core

Quick look in YM2612 code revealed very frustrating implementation. Something like 1:1 rewrite of c/pascal code from some PC emulator. Full of blocking assignments - that's why synthesizer cannot move tables into FPGA RAM and uses 5400 of logic cells per channel! And full YM2612 implementation requ...

There's also a Windows tool to convert 48k SNA to TAP, maybe it's useful for you:

Tested +D with img/mgt and works like a charm ;) the next weekend I will test further.

A long time waiting for native disk support. Thanks for your great work in this core!

Edit: attachement is a blank disc, just rename the extension to .IMG

Re: Spec core with ZXMMC+

instead of implementing Multiface or other interface, would be possible to dump spectrum ram to snapshot file through the firmware? (in this case will be necessary to add an option to load z80/sna files)

I think will not be necessary to maintain ESXDOS, unless certain games or apps can only be loaded from it (I haven't found any)

Re: Spec core with ZXMMC+

Multiface can save ram to tape, microdrive or disk, plus other tools as poking or printing:

http://www.worldofspectrum.org/infoseek ... id=1000273

There were versions for 48, 128 and +3 machines (schematics are published on WOS).

Joysticks are these indicated in first post (viewtopic.php?f=101&t=29920#p295316).
Last firmware version working for me (all directions) is 160522.

Re: Strange behaviour with buttons mapping

It looks like up/down isn't mapped to keys; which is weird because I've been using joystick to control the OSD in all my testing yesterday. You're right, is weird, but i've tested with 3 different joysticks and in previous firmware version all directions works ok. Maybe is a specific problem with c...
