It does seem unfair to profit from the hard work of game developers. In the past fans created not-for-profit gaming fan websites which could be read by everyone for free and suddenly there is this push to sell books containing content they don't own. Had the book been mainly words, interviews etc. ...

The House Of the Rising Sun

This was an amazing PD/Shareware game that had an R-rated theme. I used to play it all the time around '92. At the time, my nephew (who is only 10 years younger then me, so we were like 9 and 19) always used to watch me play video games. I had to throw him out whenever I wanted to play this game tho...

Anything by Dave Munsie. That guy made some amazing ST games. Best Berzerk game I've ever played at home.

Another one is Warzone, the first program that I ever downloaded on GEnie in 1993. Pretty good two-player only game that Angry Birds ripped off. Funny thing is when I first saw Warzone, I thought they ripped off 1982's Artillery Duel. :)

There is a 'colour' ST variant called Snowball Fight! Actually are Snowfall and Snowball Fight online somewhere?
