Re: Mist FPGA64 core/disk flip

Thanks ill give it a try .. Yea I realize that the core is imperfect and that some of the demos may not work or may not work properly, I was really just curious if the disk change issue had been fixed with one of the myriad of cores released .. (yea its hard to keep track these days) Thanks for the ...

Mist FPGA64 core/disk flip

Have any of the recent c64 cores addressed the disk flip detection on MIST (not talking about MiSter and its cores, just "classic" MiST) (I know various folks have made contributions to fixing random issues here and there, I just didnt know if disk flip detection been resolved on any of th...

A new game has been released for the Commodore Plus4: Pets Rescue It would be nice to see it also run on MiST. Looks like an excellent game, too bad it doesn't run on the MiST. :( I hope someday this core gets ported to the MiSTer. There is a plus/4 core for the mist. its under its C16 smaller brot...

Re: MiST 1.3 MIDI to serial?

the old mist had its advantage in that without any additional circuitry needed, you could wire the RX/TX lines that formerly connected to the Mist's midi board directly to the GPIO serial console lines of a Raspberry Pi... Why? because the Raspberry Pi's gpio uses the same voltage levels as the Mist...

Agreed. While you wouldn't exactly be able to browse the modern web, being able to grab files directly from Aminet or transfer files across the network to the MiST would be useful... Or just to run an IRC client and party like it's '95 :P Unfortunately the AGA core hasn't been updated in about a ye...

right now AFAIK no one is doing that. Not correct. Some people are selling the boards: http://www.atari-forum.com/viewtopic.php?f=117&t=32121 Oh thats good news.. The only concern I see with using a dev board like the DE10-nano is often companies will update or revise their dev boards from time...

Re: How actively are you using your MiST?

You only really need an SDRAM board. A fully assembled machine would probably be too pricey given it's mostly custom parts right now. As I said.. you need someone to either supply you the daughterboard or you need to roll your own.. therein lies the problem.. the ram board is a custom part .. you e...
