New Stick for MiST

I built me a Atari compatible joystick for my TI-99/4A and it works well on the MiST as well!

Total investment of about $25. All arcade quality parts.

Re: MIST 1.3 plus

There was a thread on here about a USB Network interface that works with the ST Core. I bought one, but have yet to set it up on my MiST. (I have far too many toys and not enough time to use them all). I bought one of these and was able to set it up with the ST core. I can say it works (but not wel...

Re: New Core for MiST ? How?

I have been reading what is involved and WOW! It a hell of a lot. Hats off to anyone that has managed to create a core for the MiST.

I would like to see one for the TI-99/4A and even the Myarc Geneve 9640, but I can see it's going to be a lot to do.

Re: New Core for MiST ? How?

yes, you are correct. The F18A is the upgrade video for use with the TI-99/4A and supports 80 columns and we have even gotten an 80 column ANSI terminal program for it now. I have two of the F18A devices on original 99/4a's and love them. I know there is a huge learning curve to code a new core. may...

New Core for MiST ? How?

Not sure if this is the place for it, or who I need to even contact. Maybe somoene can point me into the right direction. I want to get a couple of cores coded for the MiST FPGA system: 1. TI-99/4A core with RS232, Joystick, Memory, Floppy Disk Image and Hard Disk Image support 2. Geneve II Core sup...

MiST - Amiga core and Ethernet

I read in a post late last night here somewhere that the AMIGA core supports Ethernet via a USB ethernet controller?

If this is true can someone elaborate on this?

Thanks,

Re: MIST and DLINK Dub-e100

The above quick tutorial and link references from Paradroy to get the DLINK Dub-E100 ethernet working on the mist is SPOT-ON! I know Paradroyd also just started working on this and both of us have seen the same issue with Latency. I have tried to adjust the MTU size with no avail and it seems the Te...

Re: Retro Joystick Opinions

The best is a homemade arcade joystick... or a Telemach Pro. For memories, you can try Competition Pro or Quickshot II. I have a couple of Konnix 500xj... and it's fashion and good looking, but impossible to handle with diagonals... and it has the worst fire button I've found xDDD (Everything imho,...

Re: MiST with IOGEAR Switchbox ?

update. I have not been able to successfully 100% get this working. I need to buy a VGA to DVI-D adapter module that has a power requirement I believe to get this to work. Something like this I believe: http://smile.amazon....ds=vga%20to%20dvi-d I have been able to hook up the sound and the USB keyb...

Re: MIST and DLINK Dub-e100

anything I have to do to get the Dub E-100 to be seen by the MiST Atari ST core? Or is it just plug it in, power it up and it's ready?

MiST with IOGEAR Switchbox ?

I decided I wanted to hook up my MiST FPGA to my IOGEAR 2 port DVI switch box model # GCS932UB https://www.iogear.c...oduct/GCS932UB/ It also has MIC and audio connectors. It's a DVI-D input. I have not been able to successfully find an adapter for it. I have tried to hook up a VGA to DVI Analog (vg...

Re: MIST with Lantronix UDS

Hm, I am puzzled. I use MIST with a bluetooth adapter on the "internal" serial port (the one that "normally" goes to the MIDI daughterboard) and I can easily push it to 57600 bauds, even 115200 works fairly well . I would think that using a USB RS232 adapter would allow much fas...

Re: MIST with Lantronix UDS

it seems that the MIST with the ST core translates the signals with the USB to serial interface a bit different. I got it working once I finally found my RS232 tester. So what I had to do was: db9 to db25 (db9 is the usb serial connector; db25 is on my UDS10 device) 1 --> 8 2 --> 3 3 --> 2 4 --> 4 5...

MIST with Lantronix UDS

I have purchased a USB to serial device to work with my MIST but I am having issues getting a cable created. Does anyone know the pinouts I need to connect the Lantronix UDS10 to a 9pin USB serial? I thought it would map it as follows but my cable did not work. db9 to db25 1 > 8 2 > 3 3 > 2 4 > 20 5...

MIST and DLINK Dub-e100

I was the DLINK DUB-E100 works with the MIST and the Atari ST. What I am trying to find out if all of the hardware versions work with it? I have one that is Hardware Version 'D1' and I have not opened it yet and don't want to if it does not work and someone can tell me yay or nay on it. It's the new...
