Re: GEM Elite TNK - Does someone have this?

Thanks guys, I'll give it a go today. update: It's a bit buggy, pressing 'Y' to start a new commander doesn't seem to have any effect (I am running in mint) It is very slow on my TT, about 5fps. On my ct60e falcon it runs at about 15fps so a lot more playable, but I need to mess around with it a bit...

GEM Elite TNK - Does someone have this?

Could someone please upload this? I heard there was once a GEM version of elite that required min 800x600, I really want to play this now I have a graphics card. Hopefully somebody has it backed up, as it doesn't seem to be anywhere on the net. I even used waybackmachine to go back to the authors we...

Re: Entering the Atari scene after 20+ year Hiatus PLZ Help :)

Hum noise from the sound output can be caused by many things, usually bad power supply caps. I recommend buying these from Exxos, the STE DAC noise fix solved my noisy sound output. I also did a psu recap. https://www.exxoshost.co.uk/atari/last/storenew/ STE DAC NOISE FIX UBE VIDEO ADAPTER (for VGA ...

Extendos comes with a mint driver that you need to put inside your mint directory with all of the other drivers. The cursor only blinks or disappears when running certain software, ztask for instance, which is why I don't use it and use taskbar instead.

AFAIK these are Atari original, not made by a 3rd party.

Re: For sale: SPDIF (SoundPool) interface for Falcon 030.

I highly recommend this device. I personally use mine to play tracker music like Ace tracker, flex tracker, Falcamp for mp3s... most audio programs that use the DSP work with it. This way you can output pure digital sound out of your Falcon to a DAC of your choice, for the absolute BEST quality your...

Midi is a Falcon playable format. Wongck created PH Player which can play Midi on the Falcon/TT/STE through the DMA sound system, so it is possible.

Falcon 060 badges

Hey guys, I'm sure everyone's seen those awesome pictures of Beetles Falcon 060 setup with the supervidel spanned over two monitors, he also had an awesome case badge that looked identical to the Atari original but with 060 instead of 030. Once I asked him if I could buy one from him but he doesn't ...

wow, ok. Yes mine is 2mb but the Nova menu doesn't give me options for 1024x768 24bit which is what I would like. Menu gives me the option to try 1280x1024 24bit but when Mint loads I get 'out of sync error' on the monitor, so I was assuming that my card couldn't do it. Maybe I should try another mo...

What is the highest res you can use with the Mach64 in 24bit colour? I have one and it seems 800x600 is the highest, ideally I'd like 1024x768 if someone has a configuration file for me, if it is possible.

Okay I found them eventually. I am uploading a ZIP with the two drivers inside, as I found them hard to track down. Might make it easier for others.
eth.zip

By the way, that Asix chipset sure runs HOT! I actually opened it up and put a heatsink on it lol :)
