Re: Mega STe / TT keyboard: flexible plastic sheet with contact tracks.

Best Electronics sells the keyboard mylars, no need to manufacture them. I think it would be very convenient to make that manufacture order, based in Europe. Best Electronics has "special" prices that are aggravated by shipping costs from the USA to Europe and the nightmare of customs. Gr...

For Sale: UNITOR-2 (C-Lab).

Re: Solution to stripped plastic posts! (one that doesn't suck as much as epoxy+teflon)

I have used an epoxy that comes in the form of a cylinder with the two mixing components, you just have to cut a slice and knead it so that the two components react, the proportion will always be appropriate. I like to use a tube covering the damaged piece, fill it with epoxy and when it solidifies ...

A more expensive option is flexible PCB (down to 0.08mm).

And nobody of the many technicians that we have in the Atari scene has made the scheme to manufacture a lot of those flexible PCBs?

Mega STe / TT keyboard: flexible plastic sheet with contact tracks.

Mega STe / TT keyboard.
At present, there are many resources to manufacture printed plates; Is it possible to clone the flexible plastic sheet with the contact tracks of these keyboards? What solutions currently exist for the breakdowns of these keyboards?

Re: Floppy drive replacement (expanding the theme).

Yes because you use the screws to attach it to the computer. It is, as said above, the unchangeable constant. Unless you drill through your motherboard. Nobody denies the alignment of the threaded holes, but that does not prevent the problem of the exchange of the front in the floppy drives and tha...

P.S. Have you considered an alternative "Atarized" ?, more similar to the case of an external disk drive Atari, with oblique grid, classic Atari logo with Fuji, etc.

Haha you just put two drives on the table and took a photo. Wow genius of the year here. Look where the mounting holes are. Line them up using that. Then try again. Lo-and-behold the ST bezel will extend further out. https://i.postimg.cc/CK6t0cv4/IMG-20190313-053408.jpg If you don't line up mountin...
