Re: X68000 core

I don't know. the name "1chip X68000" is similar to "1chip MSX" giving idea it may come from the same author as MSX.

Re: ao486 Core with Win95 ?

It's possible that ao486 doesn't work well on all DE10-nano. It has many problems in timings and it's pretty large to optimize it.

Re: ao486 Core with Win95 ?

I get vmm32.vxd if i don't use fan and board gets hot.
Currently ao486 occupy the whole FPGA and even not always can be compiled due to lack of FPGA space.

If i could shave off some LEs, i could try to re-compile with different SEEDs, but i cannot find the place where i could optimize the code.

Re: Minimig (Amiga) core discussion

The question is how Minimig is precise to fit such strong protection.
Are there any games without stripped protection from 90x?

Re: C64 Core

Too bad still there is no self-motivated C64 fan who can improve the current core.
C64 Reloaded is based on original chips as far as i know - it has no relation to FPGA.

Re: C64 Core

I don't know what was a reason for U1541 become open source, but i hope U64 will become open source as well. I don't think open source will harm U64 sales as it is interesting mostly as a hardware replacement for C64 fans.

How it doesn't work? Does it need to pass exactly 167MHz?

Re: Arcade cores

the bugs i found was the sound on the screen who shows the meter like 25m or 50m. And the running/jumping sound is sometimes wrong, but as far as i know there are with mame problems too, they have implemented sound samples to fix this. The speed seems to be 125% means a little to fast ;-). But for ...

Re: C64 Core

Well, it's not entirely true. MiSTer emulates real CPU and RAM of 1541. That's why you can use JiffyDOS ROM for 1541 and C64 and get fast loading. The problem is how precise 1541 features are emulated.

Re: Atari 2600

I don’t know if I’m using this site right but anyway i just got my dads old 2600 from 1980. I do not get a signal unless i push very hard on the power switch and and even then the signal is very weak. This is an image of what it looks like. I opened it to see if there was something wrong like a wea...

Re: Arcade cores

colors are same as mine.
Actually i didn't compare it with original Arcade as it looked ok to me.

After checking with youtube i see the colors are wrong, but it's not like R G B are messed. Probably something wrong in original core.
I will check if it possible to fix.

Re: Arcade Core Donkey Kong

None of Arcades were developed on MiST. Arcade cores are ported mostly either from FPGAArcade(MikeJ) or came from Dar (or few other sources). every arcade core has Readme where i mention the original source. From Crazy Kong readme: -- Crazy Kong (Falcon) FPGA - DAR - 2014 -- http://darfpga.blogspot....
