Re: CT60 Games

I think it's on Marcer's FTP server. I found some hangloose archive somewhere at one point and have I think the entirety of his FTP server on my FTP server. Once I work through the permissions issues on it, I'll probably give people access. The zip I have is 204mb. Extracted it's about 330mb. I wond...

Re: CT60 Games

So I attempted to get Robinson's Requiem CD version to work on my Falcon, but all I managed to get were crashes and eventually a black screen (if I ran it in straight 030 mode). But then I discovered the fun that is file permissions. You see, I copied the extracted files off of my FTP server, where ...

Re: TT030 clone - is it possible ?

I guess if the Falcon 040 Microbox had ever been released, that would have been the 'more serious work computer'? I do love my TT030 though, it's nice, just wish it'd had more graphic modes. It would've made the TT obsolete - better graphics, more expansion slots, faster CPU. Atari pre-announced th...

Re: TT030 clone - is it possible ?

I would think Falcon as a base is a better idea as well, simply because of the updated TOS, ability of custom video modes, DSP, etc. If the bus and CPU speed of the original Falcon hadn't been handicapped, it would have made an awesome workstation system. If the software didn't utilize the DSP, the ...

Re: Web browsing with CosmosEx?

That would be cool, I had the same idea, but you actually have the skill to make it happen! (in fullscreen ;-)) So I'm thinking Squid. Caching web proxy. Could probably even write some extensions to it to make websites Atari friendly, then You'd have everything redirected to the browser on the ST. ...

I finally plugged my CosmosEx into my Falcon, so now i have an extra HxC sitting around. Not sure if I'll stick it in another system or not, since my A4000D already has one too.

Re: Alice's Mom's Rescue: a new platformer game for Falcon CT60 & Firebee

The standard joystick should work, but not Jaguar pad. I bought the game and like it a lot, but for some reason, on my Falcon standard joystick button does nothing, I have to use the space bar to jump. I tested my joystick with other games, it is working fine. Anybody has the same issue? I have the...

Re: There are tons of BEST of threads, how about the WORST ST games?

I played a bit of Altered Beast last night on my Falcon. It's pretty terrible. It looks fantastic, but the controls are absolutely terrible, and it was hard as hell. It didn't seem like it was running ultrafast, but if I recall it normally ran pretty slow on the ST. When I think of worst games ever ...

Re: [Solved?] CT60e Which are the reset pins to reset the clock speed back to default?

I tried that and it didn't seem to do anything. It showed it as saved there, but when I booted in 060 mode, it crashed again and said 100Mhz, it crashes right as it's trying to do the memory test.

I found a short male DVI to female HDMI adapter, but not sure if it would work, does the DVI output support digital output? Sure it does. I've done something similar: https://www.facebook.com/groups/296267227164633/permalink/721895791268439/ Whoa, I really need to either find time to do it myself, ...

Re: [Solved] SuperVidel + CT60e Woes.

Ha, just about crapped myself. Was trying an overclock, it was stuck at 100mhz and crashing... tried finding the recovery pins, finally found from a screenshot that they were UNDER where the SV sits... Still couldn't get that to reset, but without the SV on there, it'd boot into 100mhz after dumping...

[Solved?] CT60e Which are the reset pins to reset the clock speed back to default?

I was playing around with the overclocking of my CT60e, and managed to make it crash every time at 100Mhz. Can't seem to find exactly what the "Reset" pins are for this. I see a set of pins next to the memory close to the memory where the power supply is. Then of course the power/reset sw/...

Now that Iv'e gotten my SuperVidel working, I just need to get MiNT working again (I think it's stuck doing a disk check...) or STiNG working without it (no clue there) I'll try to do a review of the various browsers.

I'd say pop it open and check solder points as an initial check. Unless of course you have any warranty on it, in which case I'd ask them to fix it.

That was always my understanding too, that anything that wasn't moved over to the 060 in hardware, was covered by some sort of 'emulation' of the earlier versions.
