Re: Atari file system support for Linux ?

Sadly I have not been able to write the image back out. It just seemingly hangs, left it for an hour or so, seemed only the partition table showed up.

Re: [Maybe] Beta testers needed

1 answer out of 115 reads so far ... I admit i hoped for a bit more interest ... Anyway, Thx Bonus, 1 is better than none :D Some are probably like me, would love to test it, but don't have much time for extensive testing. Granted part of my problem is my UltraSatan decided to stop working, so I or...

Re: Atari file system support for Linux ?

May be I should attach it to my USB-SATA adapter and push it on to my TV, and see if I can run Drimg there, after my kids are finish with the TV later. What, you don't just say "Out of the way, Pecks!"? I managed to rip to a raw file and mount (at least the two ext2 partitions) unde...

Re: Dead Falcon mobo and Replacement Chips

H&V sync were reversed, switched those and we're good! Attached an ST keyboard and it now boots to the desktop. That I was not expecting! I could do with finding a case now... it's all a bit precarious attaching keyboards and stuff without a case. Then onto motherboard number 2. That one is mis...

The one on Marcer's GameDVD is the one I have, which still requires the manual. There was talk about getting a SuperCardPro or Kryoflux dump on Facebook, but they so far only linked back to this thread about the manual.

Re: 1920x1200? Rotation?

I never do seem to think up things that would be easy to implement.. Ha! I always figured if I did web development I'd use a vertical display, but for DTP it'd be equally great. I was hoping it could be done via a VDI rotation or something. Granted I have no clue how any of that works.

1920x1200? Rotation?

So, I just picked up a Dell U2410 (mainly because it seems to handle lower frequencies, does VGA, DVI, HDMI, Composite and Component). It's Maximum resolution is 1920x1200. Plus it can rotate. Now the question is, will the SuperVidel support this? I think rotated like that would be AMAZING for Calam...

Re: LCD capable of 100 Hz?

I have two that handle 144hz :P They're rather pricey though. Dell S2716DG. Unfortunately they only have Display Port and HDMI. Curious, what demos don't like 60hz VGA? The Dell U2410 I just got will handle up to 76hz, though it's max is 1920x1200@60hz.

Re: Atari Partition table support added to GNU parted (Unix/Linux partition tool)

Is this still working? Tried to use parted to see my Falcon drive, but it didn't recognize any partitions on it. I tested myself with a hard disk partitioned with the Atari Hard Disk tools, and it worked. Maybe your disk was partitioned with a non standard tool ? I partitioned it with HDDriver (pro...

Re: Original video clock to SuperVidel

I have run some ST games patched for CT60 by Klapauzius. I think he has them all on his website http://www.klapauzius.net . For example Fire and Ice uses HBL palette switching on the main screen and this does not work well on SV unless you have soldered the clock+sync cables from your MB to SV. Wit...

Whoa, major Windows failure on that one. It detected the drive as 7.31641MB. It shows up in Linux for some weird reason as 127, even though it's a 120GB drive. It's all sorts of confused.

Re: TT030 HD Floppy Format TOS 3.06

Same with MegaSTe I think, TOS 2.05 and DD. My second Mega had 2.05 and HD though. My original Mega STe died on us about a year after we bought it new. So we got a replacement motherboard that came with TOS2.06. Yay, free upgrade. Unfortunately that one also died (I think rats peed on it and now I ...

Re: Dead(?) UltraSatan?

Hi leech, I got a similar problem - as you wrote, the Blackfin and the firmware are okay, the SD Card seemed to be recognized internally - same on my US. In my case the line buffer (74LV125D) was dieing due to voltage differences when plugging the US to the ST while both are powered up (bad idea). ...

Dead(?) UltraSatan?

So I was back and forth attempting to get some things setup on my TT030, when randomly the UltraSatan stopped working. It powers on, blinks the LEDs as if it's reading the SD Cards, but then doesn't load anything. HDDriver (10.12) doesn't detect anything on the bus. I then connected it to my 1040STe...

I had read that too. Wonder what the process is of getting that into a cartridge. Not that I have a secondary Jaguar anymore... I still have two Dooms and a Jaglink though.
