Alright, it will be done when it will be done. At least my card is usable as it is right now.

Re: new Nova drivers

Yes, I haven't found anything that says they are different types of RAM chips. Unfortunately, I don't have any such old PC to test the card with. I'm stuck with the Atari :-) I'm happy the card supports 1024x768 with a good picture so I can run Cubase with more screen estate. But it would of course ...

Re: new Nova drivers

OK, but for what purpose should I research the RAM? Can you be more specific?

Idek thinks it's a timing issue with the DAC.

Re: new Nova drivers

No they are not the same. This is what I have found about the socketed chips: https://www.digchip.com/datasheets/parts/datasheet/204/HY514260B.php If I read correctly they are FPM. The soldered chips are two HM514170JP8. Couldn't find a data sheet for them but I believe they are also FPM..

Re: new Nova drivers

Seems to be 256kbx16.

What should be the correct size for this card?

Re: new Nova drivers

If I knew how to tell... Manufacturers seem to have agreed on never printing the exact memory size on chips and instead use cryptic numbers. :-)

The chips say:

Re: new Nova drivers

I have a problem running the 1280x1024 resolution on my Mach32 card and a MegaSTE. I'm using the latest drivers from February. The lower resolutions work very well and the card gives a very good picture on a Benq BL702A. In the highest resolution I get a strange picture with doubling of objects. The...

Re: SynthWorks D-50 original software.

So here are MSA images of my two original disks, mono and color versions. I hope they work for you. If you are running this on a Mega STE, remember to switch off the cache or it won't work. Also, if you have a graphics card it doesn't like higher resolutions. Only medium or high Atari resolutions wo...

Re: SynthWorks D-50 original software.

Yes I do. I still have my original package with both disks, manual and dongle. Are you looking for the actual original disks or images of them? I can make images of mine.

I happen to be looking for the Synthworks DX/TX disks as I only have a dongle. Disk images would be fine.

Carl

Re: Getting Mega STe soon... best way to transfer with Mac?

I'm using a NetUSBee with my MegaSTE to retrieve files from my Mac. I start an FTP server on the Mac and then connect to it from the Atari. Works beautifully.

Registered! If it should go in the VME bus on the MegaSTE then it would be nice if it also featured an integrated graphics card... just wishful thinking.

Re: Netusbee and STing users, help!

I seem to have the same problem or a similar one. CAB 1.5 complains about a Read Error in the cache folder when I try to access a website. I can ping servers on the internet and access ftp sites with Litchi. I can also send and receive emails with Newsie. So the Netusbee works but something seems to...

Pure C + Mega STE w 68882 + float = won't compile!

Hi, Whenever I try to compile a piece of code that contains floats in Pure C on my Mega STE the compiler freezes. The same code compiles on my 1040STFM. I wonder whether this is related to the 68882 FPU that is installed in my Mega STE? I have not ticked boxes for generating FPU code (-8). If it's r...
