Re: Madmax's tracker ?

Chris Huelsbeck answer me: Jochen and I were neither friends nor competitors, we were just friendly colleagues at a time when not many people were doing this kind of work. He did an Amiga emulating sound system on the Atari and I thought that his mixing routine could be ported back to the Amiga and ...

Re: Acorn Archimedes

Take RISC OS 3.11 it is the best if you want it in English or RISC OS 3.19 in German. (Only difference between them is the language). Hello Zarchos, as we seem that you have enough knowledge on this platform, allow me some questions: Did Acorn never launch versions from his roms in languages othe...

Re: Madmax's tracker ?

Amiga TFMX "The Final Musicsystem eXtended" was coded by Chris, Peter Thierolf and Jochen Hippel. Is that true? I mean MM formats on the Amiga are known as HIP, HIPC and HIP7V. Are these TFMX derivatives? Or vice versa? I'm not an expert, but I do remember some things from when I was in t...

Re: Madmax's tracker ?

Not so much what it stands for. But why does it say it? TFMX is widely considered to be a Chris Huelsbeck format no? Amiga TFMX "The Final Musicsystem eXtended" was coded by Chris, Peter Thierolf and Jochen Hippel. Jochen helped with 7voices routine in Amiga TFMX. And Chris and Jochen are...

Re: Introducing the VeriSNES (FPGA-based SNES)

Hello all, I'm the creator of the VeriSNES. It was funny to discover that I already had my own thread on this forum.....considering I only just now registered. In any case, I would like to discuss with whoever the board designer for the MiST is. I'm not at all familiar with the MiST board so ...

Re: MagiC 6.20

Zview? I've tried it and it's not worth it. Only visualize with the colors that you have in the desktop, not to full screen in true color for example. Maybe for someone with CT2, Afterburner, CT60 or Firebee but for 16Mhz Falcon is the slower viewer that exists. Thank you anyway. About 30 seconds i...

Hi, any .GIF ,PNG .IMG .TIFF .PCX .IFF ... viewer for MagiC ? I use ALPHA and it show the pictures but it crashed at exit. I also try to use JPEG viewer v2.2 and the same, crashed when I exit. ImageCopy 4 it works but don't use DSP (Slooooow) and can't show the pictures in fullscreen, just in a wind...

I did this video time ago with my A1200 and I think that I used 64 colors. So I think that the first post video can't be 16 col.

Re: Oscilloscope waveforms

I will leave coding of it to someone else. Too busy with hard disk adapt of Panza Kick Boxing :D  P.S. What you called ascii is actually simple binary format. Basically should convert that 8-16 bit, some 12-50 KHz sample to some much lower bit count, lower freq. sample, what then can displa...

Re: Daimakaimura (Ghouls 'n Ghosts) for the Atari STE

Anima is with no doubt a great coder. Yes, they are still discussing if it would be possible to do what it does in an a500 and apparently everyone thinks they would need a 1200. it's fun to see how they look for a solution. Seems the 512k chip RAM is a big problem for them. P.D. I love both platfor...

Oscilloscope waveforms

Hello, I did not know if to put this in coder's thread or in this one. Anyway, this is my question: I'm not a coder just a musician, but I know that is not possible capture the original audio-waves from our yamaha 2149f meanwhile it sounds, but I've thought an idea. Will be possible capture the wave...
