Re: NEW OR UPDATED ARCADE CORES

Great to see Gehstock changed his mind! I'd like to suggest him to include the full change history. The current repo does only contain the most recent snapshot.

Re: The last MIST

I love the MIST and this is a very sad day. Maybe I should buy another one from the last stock when I still have the chance... Anyway, the good thing is that the source of the firmware and cores is free and open. Perhaps even the hardware design? It means the MIST is not dead. Development will conti...

If all of the history is in there I'll clean up, re-push and do :megaphone: at this place.

There it is! Thanks! :)

Thanks, but do you have a full git clone? Would be great if you could push the full history.

Re: MT-32 core?

Great idea! Front panel buttons could be mapped to a joystick, if at all needed. Monitor could be optional, preferably showing the content of the display.

Running in tandem with another core? Sure, just connect another MIST via MIDI.

Re: MiST - Amiga core and Ethernet

Oh, here we have a dedicated thread for this. Sorry for crossposting, but I think this is the most relevant place. :)

Will the Amiga AGA core support the same ethernet adapter as the ST core; the D-Link DUB-E100?

Regarding ethernet...

Any updates on this one? Will it support the same ethernet adapter, D-Link E100, as the ST core?

Is there any work going on for making this ethernet adapter work with the Amiga AGA core?

Re: AGA core for mist

Is there any way to get multiscan productivity screenmodes working? Would be cool to have a flicker-free highres square-pixel resolution for Workbench.

When selecting such a screenmode, the content of the screen is squeezed and pushed to the left, and the mouse pointer is gone.

Re: MiST VGA upscaling experiments

Oh I see! Very interesting to know that the XRGB Mini does support 31 kHz on the SCART port if properly wired/converted. I need to look in to that. The XRGB Mini is really great but badly lacks documentation. :)

Re: Compatible USB gamepad or joystick for MiST

Very nice work! Beside start and select it would be nice to have Y->B and B->A for the most authentic positional mapping of a NES pad. Anyway I might be able to take a look at the source as well.

Re: Compatible USB gamepad or joystick for MiST

I have the iBuffalo SNES control replicas. Works great with the MiST. However, I would really like to remap the buttons. Is there a way I can do that?

Re: MiST VGA upscaling experiments

Just want to confirm here... Are you using the XRGB Mini with the NES core? I can't seem to get it working. I have a passive Minimig VGA-SCART cable and it works great with the Amiga core with the XRGB Mini, given that I disable the scandoubler. Otherwise the Mini says NO INPUT. The NES core however...
