Re: [Solved?] CT60e Which are the reset pins to reset the clock speed back to default?

You can always boot the Falcon in 030 mode and set another clock on the CT60 from there.
That's the way I have solved it when my CT60/63 have been overclocked.

Re: Recapping -which type of electrolytic capacitors?

I have recapped four Falcon MB's by now using capacitors from Vishay. Their AS and ASM series had good equivalent in both size and specs as the old axial ones. For the radial I used the RSU serie. All four Falcon's have worked like a charm after that, but they didn't really had any issues before eit...

Looking at the pictures you first posted, you seemed to have the same issue as I with the CT60e and SV. The first picture is the same as I got using the SV with the jumper on, when I removed it, it worked fine. The next pictures are after a unsuccessful update of the FW. This have most likely brick...

I also have error message about the temperature readings when I boot up. But it's not always, and when I use higher MHz I get this error message more often. But the readings seems to be quite accurate, I get around 58°C when I push it really hard. But I have a heatsink with a fan. Me too! I have no...

1131€, congrats to whomever got that deal. It wasn't me, although I did bid on it... have always wanted that C-Lab case! And with a Swedish keyboard! :-) I watched it but never placed a bid. 1131€ for a Swedish keyboard is a little bit to much. ;-) I have a Mega ST keyboard but it's a german one, i...

Oh thank god. It hit 83 the other day and I about crapped. I kind of recall there being someone saying there was a bug in the temperature software that triggered if you had a CT60e. I also have error message about the temperature readings when I boot up. But it's not always, and when I use higher M...

Re: SuperVidel + CT60e Woes.

Don't forget that thing about the SV having a jumper that removes noise from a ct63 bus. Apparently this makes it crash on a ct60e. Ha, yeah I pulled the jumper off to see if it made a difference. Sure did, I just got a black screen for my efforts. My best guess at this point is that it's a really ...

Re: Processor comparisons

I will make a little contribution to this infected thread. :-) I used my Falcon with CAF for professional recordings until 1997. After that I switched to PC, and along with the switch all the problem. It took at least 2 years before the PC was equal to my Falcon setup. That means a PC from 2000 runn...

Going on memory only here but I'm pretty sure it cost me around $250.00 to $300.00 to get here to the US. Hey Wong. There was no network adapter that came with mine. I think that was later releases maybe? I do have the etherNat, but that was a separate purchase. Maybe you're thinking about the Svet...

I have tried emulator once, but I felt nothing. Not the thing for me! it's the keyboard/mouse.... a FB you need to get an Atari keyboard & mouse.... like the one for TT or MSTE. By emulator I ment Hatari on a modern computer. I have bought a Mega ST keyboard just to use with my Firebee. I think...

I own two Falcon's and really enjoy playing around with them. I like to be able to use them as stock Falcon's or with the CT63 and SV. I want to be able to enjoy the design of my old computers and also the smell of the old electronics. I have tried emulator once, but I felt nothing. Not the thing fo...

Re: A good & working net browser?

I use Netsurf on a Falcon with CT60e and Supervidel and I can't say that it's useless. Of course it's not like my Macbook Pro, but it's very possible to surf the net. It's all about to adapt to the system you use. I can easily wait for 30s to load a site on my Falcon, but on my Macbook I would go cr...

I installed my MINT with a Falcon using CT63.
I then changed my CT63 to a CT60e and MINT works great with that also.
So I have not installed MINT with the CT60e installed in my Falcon.

Weird RTC on Falcon

Hi all Atari lovers. I have changed RTC chip on my new Falcon and it's behaving weird. I can set boot info like boot order for the HD's and revolution etc. Also language is working fine. But the time and date is impossible to get the RTC to remember. I changed the RTC a second time and checked all t...

Re: CT60 Games

I might be wrong but it's possible it works better with SV because it's completely loaded in ST-RAM, in other words, it's highly TT-RAM unfriendly. ;-) So maybe SV's video buffer does wonders here but it feels strange, I was under impression that one has to 'OR' the video base address with 0xAA0000...

Yes it's the default fan and sink and it works great even under heavy load.

I run my CT63 at 90MHz and my CT60e at 95MHz, both rock stable.
