Re: Hydrogen Peroxide Bath - ??Harm??

It's the photo or it seems to me that those keys are too white to be a MegaSTE grey keyboard? Looks identical to my TT keyboard. But didn't the TT and Mega STE have the same case and keyboard? :) The keyboard case is so yellow that I cannot tell if it is a TT keyboard or a Mega STE keyboard. :shrug...

Re: Hydrogen Peroxide Bath - ??Harm??

Thanks y'all. I've begun reading the links provided. 3% H2O2 is sold in American pharmacies for "topical use." I am still hoping that someone else has already tried this and could share their experience. If not, then I will probably pry off the key caps and find another way to keep them su...

Hydrogen Peroxide Bath - ??Harm??

Hello Gurus! I have a keyboard for a mega STE. It and it's keycaps are very yellow. I like the even results from submerging the Atari plastics into a bath of Low concentration hydrogen peroxide. However when I try to submerge the key caps, they float to the surface. Which reduces the effectiveness o...

Re: Dilemma: Mega STE or not Mega STE?

FWIW, I have a SCSI2SD version 5, installed via internal Atari SCSI host adapter in my STacy. I believe it's the same as the MSTE. It is limited to 999meg. Set Parity to off and ID to 0. (And maybe remove the resistors???) Anyhow, flawless and trouble free for more than a year. Firmware upgrades via...

Re: Mega STe and ultrasatan

I think the internal DMA connector and the Internal SCSI host adapter in the MegaSTE and STacy are compatible. Take a look at this thread of putting an UltraSatan into a STacy without an internal SCSI host adapter. http://www.atari-forum.com/viewtopic.php?f=15&t=22615&p=200694&hilit=Stac...

That makes sense.

Are there any benchmarks to compare:
Built-in graphics vs ET4000 vs ATI vs with & without NVDI?

or

Should I purchase an ET4000 card to use with the VME adapter that I already own?

Re: Questions about ATW800 hdd install

Frank's right, no other scsi drivers work. Alex: not much to report, unfortunately I failed to install the 100MB drive for some reason. Formats fine on the TT but the ATW doesn't see it at boot. This drive has a switch for scsi id and parity to enable (NEC D3856) and terminators are present. Tried ...

Re: Nova VME Bus Adapter Building Files ...

My old Adapter Boards are all ET4000 only. I make a new Layout and I hope that this one works better with the ATI MACH Cards. I will test this with my ATI MACH32 2MB VRAM ISA Card in the next week ... Cool! I look forward to your posting. Anyone know if there is a FAQ or wiki page to describe the s...

Re: Epson SMD-340 hd select

Troed, thank you for sharing. I've had success using your modification to the SMD-340 with an Elco HD module in a 520STfm. I attached a wire to the location you identified on the SMD-340 board and connected that wire directly to the Elco's "Pin 1" on the "3 way connector." FullSi...

Thanks, Just what I needed. I did the connection for data pin 1-2, Jumper 5-13. No change. I switch jumper all around to all combinations, no change. . For what its worth: today, I used the factory default jumper settings (except for DS0) when I attached my Epson 340, to an Elco HD adapter in a STF...
