Three Sparrow Mainboards on EBay

Hello Community,

I saw this on eBay and thought y'all would find it interesting too.

Atari Prototype Sparrow Motherboard Rev2. The same seller has two other "Sparrow" auctions. I was tempted to bid but I lack the skills to maintain a prototype.

Re: Power Cables and Requirements for U.K. 520STFM in the U.

Looking at the pictures, it is clear that two different versions were produced. I can only see one "input" smoothing capacitor on the USA version, so this design of PSU (which if you look, uses two chips at least) may be a universal type. Has the German version (or indeed any 240V ac vers...

I think I understand--- the Ajax needs a 32Mhz signal to switch to ED density when needed. This is not available without modification???

ED (2.88mb) Floppy Upgrade for Falcon

I very much want to replace the 1.44 floppy drive in my Falcon with a 2.88 drive. I’ve read this is possible in the documentation for E-Copy. Searching Google, Atari-Forum and the ArariAge forum has not revealed how to accomplish this change. I hope this knowledge is in our Atari community. Thanks f...

Hi Troed, The wiki refuses to display on my computers so can I request that you send me the monitor list so I can see it? I see that you are using a Dell 2001FP for your ST, I have one of these monitors coming and am hoping that it will work on my STF. I see nowhere in the Specs that it supports do...

Re: Hydrogen Peroxide Bath - ??Harm??

It's the photo or it seems to me that those keys are too white to be a MegaSTE grey keyboard? Looks identical to my TT keyboard. But didn't the TT and Mega STE have the same case and keyboard? :) The keyboard case is so yellow that I cannot tell if it is a TT keyboard or a Mega STE keyboard. :shrug...

Thanks y'all. I've begun reading the links provided. 3% H2O2 is sold in American pharmacies for "topical use." I am still hoping that someone else has already tried this and could share their experience. If not, then I will probably pry off the key caps and find another way to keep them su...

Hydrogen Peroxide Bath - ??Harm??

Hello Gurus! I have a keyboard for a mega STE. It and it's keycaps are very yellow. I like the even results from submerging the Atari plastics into a bath of Low concentration hydrogen peroxide. However when I try to submerge the key caps, they float to the surface. Which reduces the effectiveness o...

Re: Dilemma: Mega STE or not Mega STE?

FWIW, I have a SCSI2SD version 5, installed via internal Atari SCSI host adapter in my STacy. I believe it's the same as the MSTE. It is limited to 999meg. Set Parity to off and ID to 0. (And maybe remove the resistors???) Anyhow, flawless and trouble free for more than a year. Firmware upgrades via...
