Ah, I see...thought that's a effect or glitch from the demo itself :) Yes, the bottom half of the scroller is flickering every few frames on the real STe.

Re: It's no more a MiSTery

Btw, it would be really interesting to compare it with a real STe. Hopefully there's someone following this thread who can quickly verify. I don't have easy access to my STe at the moment. Just checked this out before breakfast. It "just works" on my STe, TOS1.62. The distortion of the sc...

Re: It's no more a MiSTery

(Quick edit: I don't see any recent commits to your repo, so am I correct in assuming you've not pushed these changes yet?) Not yet, there are some other surprises waiting. I'm afraid I'm too far away for some beer from Texas - but would be good, thanks :) FYI, another one is waiting for you in Fra...

Have you tried searching for midimaze by the search engine of your confidence? That gives me dozens of results. For example:

Yes, it seems so. Don't show your hardware setup without case - would be naked hardware then :)

Is it possible to use a USB soundcard or -bar? no Thanks, but just to satisfy my curiosity: Why not? Missing kernel modules which would fill up space/memory unnecessarily? Well, I continue to use this setup with extra audio cable then. This is working fine and gives me a nice sound for my MiSTer-in...

Re: USB Hub board

Is it possible to use a USB soundcard or -bar? I'm using a Dell USB soundbar on MiSTer's USB hub board, but it's working there only if I'm using the USB cable plus 3.5mm stereo jack. The Dell soundbar is capable acting as a USB only soundcard as I'm having more than one of the same type, which are w...

Re: Newbie questions

Just got my first MiSTer complete and working. Awesome system! A fantastic work Sorgelig has done - as many times before MiSTer. But the wiki leaves me some technical questions: - Is a power source of 2000mA sufficient for a light setup? (all boards, keyboad, mouse, cabled joypad) - What is the max...

Re: It's no more a MiSTery

Just tested this demo, Level 16, but after loading I was exited back to be in front of the Level 16 door. Machine is a STE/TOS 1.62/4MB That's cool! It's how STe should behave according to the ASIC schematics (and I've implemented it correctly then). No emulator does this. Ha! I was afraid at first...

I can test this tomorrow morning CET, if I'm not too late. Too drunk now :) Anybody a download link for this demo? https://www.exxoshost.co.uk/atari/games/POV/files/112(1992).zip Select Union Demo, then walk to the L16 door. Thanks! Re: It's no more a MiSTery

The Union Demo - Level 16 fullscreen fails to load, just goes back to the main menu. The original on AtariMania is a STX, so I've had to use the version on POV112 from pouet.net. Issue exists in ST and STE mode. I've found the issue, however the fix has a conflict how I interpret a part of the STe ...

Re: Mister SNES port to MIST possible?

Did a short test today with a MiST 1.3/snes v10 on a CRT: PAL and NTSC are working fine and stable. Wanted to do more tests with MiST 1.2, YPBPR and VGA but telephone/business keeps me away from doing the right things. Will edit this post later... In my opinion it's more the extremely small and fiddly electronic parts which are used these days and not Lotharek's skills. no mate, the issue with this fault is clearly "mechanical" there is no support on this connector, [...] Okay, and learned something again. Never saw MiST's bare pcb...

Gehstock is doing much and great work on new cores and he's updating older ones from time to time.
