Re: MIST C64 core

Hi, do you know if that core could support T64 & TAP loading? I thought one old version of the core supported it.

Re: MIST C64 core

Hi, thanks for updating this core, compatibility is very high now. I found a strange problem playing Entombed with a USB pad (RetroLink NES), up and down directions change inventory but doesn't move upwards/downwards the character. With a DB9 joystick works OK though.

Re: BBC Micro

I tried this many times also and finally discovered "FAT" format in Windows 7 is not right. Use "SD Formatter" to do it, then copy beeb.mmb first, then core. It does work... I had the same issue. Thanks, that was the problem, I needed to copy beeb.mmb as the first file after for...

Re: BBC Micro

I am not abble to make this core to run correctly. Using latest core, BEEB.MMB file in root of a 2gb sd card the BBC displays only "BBC Computer 32K Super MMC" and a blinking cursor but no command prompt so I can't type anything. Tried different cores and SD cards, deleting the beeb.mmb an...

Re: amstrad cpc 6128

As far as I remember this core was compatible with 15khz scart, or at least an old version of the core was. In this mode it ran at 50hz as the original Amstrad, if you run it on a VGA monitor it's running too fast at 73hz making some games jerky and unplayable, I think this is the main problem of t...

Re: NEW OR UPDATED ARCADE CORES

Is there a way to map the insert coin and start game to the keyboard or joypad? My MiST has the middle and right buttons broken (they broke after a firmware update, don't know why).

Re: MiST MINIMIG AGA News!

Partly off-topic : news regarding WHDLoad frontends... - there was a new beta of tinylauncher (check https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nCC9i6pVMDA) ; a nice new feature is your games collection can be spread over multiple partitions and the list will be merged. D/L here : https://dl.dropboxuserconten...

Re: MiST MINIMIG AGA News!

Hi, tried this core a bit tonight and for me it is a lot more compatible than before. For example I can use the option Turbo (ChipRam+Kick) and a lot of games that crashed or didn't work ok now run flawlesly. The only issue is that I couldn't run the frontend iGame (but don't think it worked with p...

Re: AGA core for mist

Maybe this is not the right place to ask, but I am setting two hard files with a collection of whdload games because I cannot fit them all in a 4gb hardfile. I am running the games with Tinyauncher frontend. As it has only a path for the games folder I am trying with the assign command to do a logic...

Amedia wrote:Hi all there ;)

For HDF files, you can download the ones we have put on our website for our customers :

You could just zip the hardfiles, they are empty, so if you compress them from 4gb to 80kb you will save a lot of bandwith.

Re: Re:

Some of your bug reports seem to be due to the fact that the tg68 core simply only implements a few of the 68020 instructions and addressing modes. I am afraid that will not change soon as the original tg68 author has stopped working on it. On R570 works fine 68020 mode , WHDLoad games load properl...

SLiX wrote:No, these pictures are scrambled because they use some tricks to display more colors and so, require exact timings not available on the MiST.

Would it be possible for the MiST to achieve exact timings? Is a matter of hardware performance or lack of info in the internals of the Atari ST?

MiST external buttons not working

Hi, I am enjoying a lot the MiST board, and wish to thank everybody working on the cores and romsets. I noticed recently that the external buttons doesn't work anymore, only the reset button is working but the middle and right not. I think this happens after updating the firmware, but since then I h...

Re: AGA core for mist

I am testing the last Minimig AGA core and I found something strange related to AGA resolutions. I have the MiST attached to a CRT VGA monitor that displays 50hz perfectly, not 15khz though. The problem I found is at the Amiga Workbench 3.1 if I try to set a resolution like DoublePAL (640x512) or Pr...

Hi, I just scanned the GFA Basic 3.0 Manual Spanish version. Where can I upload it?

It has 3 pages missing, but I think all spanish manuals have these missing.
