Re: Any Good Working Compilation available?

Hi,

I've created new versions of my previously released here hard disk images of HD adapted games from Petari.

You can find them here: viewtopic.php?f=3&t=34967

Have fun,
SLiX.

Petari's HD adapted games images

Hi Atari fans, here are hard disk images containing all Petari's HD adapted games ( http://atari.8bitchip.info/fromhd2.php#DL ), as of 12-12-2018. There are different versions that should match different use cases (always with some free disk space for save states): * ACSI version in 2 disks of less ...

Re: PCEngine core issues with roms?

Same here:
* Good centering on 15Khz CRT monitor
* Sprites in Street Fighter 2 are completely messed up
* Bikkuriman World works but title screen seems to have colors problems (seems too dark)

Big thanks Slinkshot !

Uhm, the Atari ST core supports 1280x1024 ...

Yes, I've already tested and used it, very nice feature, but a little too much for my actual needs.

Re: The last MIST

The fact that the MiST can be directly plugged (with the right cable) to an old 15Khz CRT monitor is really a nice feature. I use one of my MiST boards this way for retro-gaming, and this is incredibly "realistic" with perfect pixels and scrollings. Also, I use an other MiST as a small Ata...

Re: The last MIST

What a shame ! The MiST is a great device. I have 2 of them working great (One for occasional gaming, One for a small MIDI station).

Thank you for all your work !

Re: Atari ST core does not save floppy disks configuration

Oh, Nice ! I didn't knew (or didn't remember) this...

The correct names are disk_a.st and disk_b.st. Thank you to point me to the solution.

I can now use 'noroach' to disable memory test and harddisk timeout on TOS 2.06.

Thanks,

Atari ST core does not save floppy disks configuration

Hi, I don't known if it's a bug, but the Atari ST code does not save floppy disks configuration. If you insert floppy disks images and then save the configuration, they are "ejected" on the next cold boot. Other parameters are kept correctly. It would be nice to be able to start MiST/Atari...

Re: Mist PC help for a newbie

Hi pixelblip,

I use v3.01 and it is perfectly stable. My configuration is:

* Mega STe (16 Mhz)
* TOS: v2.06
* CPU: 68000 (strangely, 68020 is also stable but slower)
* RAM: 4 MB (strangely, with 8 MB or more, Cubase doesn't find MROS)

Re: Graphic glitches MiST Atari core

Hi BCH, as you could read it somewhere on this forum, the Atari ST core does not achieve "exact timings" required to get some "tricky" Atari ST code to work correctly (lots of demo stuff are messed up). Most emulators are able to get exact timings because they are "full soft...

Re: MiST instability

So, I've tried with other USB power supplies I have, at least 500mA. The problem continues, but because I was unable to power it on again, I opened it to see if there is anything "visually" strange. Nothing evident, but I noticed something: without anything than the power supply plugged, w...

MiST instability

I suspect that my MiST hardware is not as stable as it should be. I use it for Atari ST and Amiga (also AGA) systems, on a 15Khz CRT monitor. Here are the symptoms: * I don't remember exactly when it started, but my MiST now regularly seems to shutdown itself, no more LEDs, no more display, but the ...

Re: Major USB changes

As said in a previous post, my Trendnet USB to PS/2 keyboard+mouse adapter (TU-PS2) does not work anymore with recent firmware (> r1029). Is there any chance that it will work again with future versions ? It would be very nice since the PS/2 "ball" mouse I use with it is more usable than U...

Re: Any Good Working Compilation available?

No, these pictures are scrambled because they use some tricks to display more colors and so, require exact timings not available on the MiST.
