Probably completely off here but I'm guessing Quadralien? Not a ship to control of course but... maybe worth a shot! ;-)

Re: 8-way scrolling system for prototyping games on STE

The "real" Alien Breed on Atari - this would be just a dream come true! I agree 100%. I'm just hoping that the talent we have in our community does something with this extraordinary engine. I'm "sick" of seeing homebrew games developed for Speccy or Atari 8Bits, etc, etc, yet th...

Re: New documentation pages for my ST games

I know this is a bump for an old topic but I feel these two games deserve it. Bold is best on either ST model, so long as you've a Blitter but works without albeit with a jerkier display... Of course, all STe's have a Blitter anyhow. Wiliness 3 is just incredible w/ first 6 levels playable - if I ca...

Peter, along with what's already been mentioned, is there anything else you are looking for help on?
I'm hoping to get time tomorrow so looking where you've not might help speed things up? Can't wait for tomorrow - I love 25fps Oids! :-)

Re: OIDS hard disk versions for test

Playing this now. It feels authentic to me but I've just realised just how sucky I am playing this game again lol. I need to practice more but it's superb and feels to play like the original, but better of course... On my STe, only Cosmoids was selectable but that's probably down to my dodgy SD card...

This is so nice!! I'm liking the changes and it's lovely and smooth.
Next add STe DMA usage like in the other games - how about an ambient sound sample for a background? ;)

Great work!!

Completed Chuckie Egg 2? Wow nice one. I loved this game for it's freedom to roam, loved exploring. Sad like that lol

Re: MANIC MINER vs CHUCKIE EGG - WHICH IS BEST?

Manic Miner for me. But, I wouldn't be so eager to vote for Mr Willy if it was against Chuckie Egg 2 - which on the Spectrum is probably one of my all time fave games. NOT the ST version, which is terrible :/

Yeah, Manic Miner deserved this win though!
