Re: +3 Mode in ZX Spectrum Core

I think you just need the latest spectrum.rom "Add Spectrum +3 and Multiface 3 ROMs" from the releases folder.
Then scroll through the Memory choices in the OSD.

I'm not too familiar with the ZX but I think that is all that's needed.

Also please test the direction of your airflow. It should point at the chip not away from it. So it should suck air onto the chip. Mixing up polarity or mounting it the other way could end up with a situation, that could lead to too much heat. That may be my problem, my fan is blowing air out of th...

Re: MiSTer: MiST on Terasic DE10-nano board.

Interesting. I guess you can estimate speed variations of the device that should mostly correspond to the temperature. Yes, ring oscillators. This is a awful method for measuring temperature, there are many issues (such as the non-linearity, the influence of power suppy, interactions with nearby lo...

Re: MiSTer - Case v1.0

@Negsol, are you having any heat issues with the new case and I/O board? I went from using the slim case with fan, heat sink, and memory add-on. Now I am using your latest case design v1.2 with fan, heat sink, memory board, and I/O board. I think I may be having heat issues most noticeably with 486 ...

Whoever makes his cross in the second answer is to blame for the fact that it is so. Already do something for the community? I have often asked for help, there are always the same 5 people who help and test. As long as Core developers have to work on the Wiki (Till, Sorgelig), they have no time to ...

Re: ao486 Core with Win95 ?

Now: How do I get a better resolution than 640*480 ? Next question will be how to enable 3D accelerator? ;) ao486 has VGA card, not SVGA, XGA and so on. Read the specs of VGA. How did you get Win98 installed ? I get an error: Windows 98 needs a CPU with a Math coprocessor. This should be the first ...

possible, if you know how to create a network card in FPGA ;)

Is that what was done for the Atari ST core?

I remember having that very problem until I installed the first release of Win95 the later releases gave me the same error after the first reboot during the install.
I think I installed Windows 95 OEM image.

@PeFClipc, make sure you’re running the latest version of MiniMig. I downloaded the wrong version thinking the last file in the list on GitHub was the latest version. For me, the list wasn’t in order by the latest core so I was downloading a much older core.

Re: MiSTer: MiST on Terasic DE10-nano board.

Does anyone know if the timezone needs to be set on the Linux side of the DE10 before the a0486 gets the proper date and time? When I check my time on the ao486, it's ahead by 4 hrs. I guess I need to adjust the time zone settings on the DE10, so the correct time gets passed to the a0486. @Sorgelig...

The MiSTer wiki for Samcoupe doesn’t say anything about needing the samcoupe.rom. The rom might be compiled in the .rbf.
I think the Samcoupe requires the memory add on.

I did a quick test and was able to save my high score in Galencia. After restarting the system my high score was confirmed as saved.

Thanks, this is going to make so many C64 fans very happy.
