Re: Early Atari 520 ST Tos 1.00 Upgrade with external Gotek.

I have this same exact problem, but with an SF314. Did you ever solve it? EDIT: I solved my problem. I traced each pin from the floppy connector to the drive cable and found 5 different connections were broken. I suspect this controller board got wet or corroded somehow. Once I jumper-wired these co...

Re: [Solved] MiST Hardware Revisions? MSX-Core-Problem

Does the MSX core work for anyone anymore?

I can get it to boot, but F12 results in no menu items displayed except "exit".

The only other difference between this and TRS-80 is that it's 50Hz instead of 60Hz. Should be easy to update this core if source was available...

Re: TRS-80 Model I/II/III/IV core possible?

The CMD2CAS converter, which was uploaded in the another related topic more tan a year ago, was downloaded only 10x, so I doubt we could call it a big desire... Well I dont use windows so it was a non-starter for me.. :-/ I ran this as a batch on a large group of CMD files. They mostly work...

Re: TRS-80 Model I/II/III/IV core possible?

It is working now... Not sure what changed other than I moved the files to a folder on the SD card.

Also, it's no wonder the TRS80 games work- this HT1080z ROM is 99.9% the same as a the R/S Level II ROM. Really, it's just got the Radio Shack text hacked out of it is the only difference.

Re: TRS-80 Model I/II/III/IV core possible?

OK, let's do it step by step! 1. Start the HT1080z.rbf core. 2. As the 'READY?' prompt appears, press [ENTER] twice. You will see a new 'READY >' prompt at the bottom of the screen. 3. Mount the *.CAS file you want to run from the menu of the MIST (F12->load *.CAS->select the file). 4/A. In case of...

Re: Would MiSTer ever be able to run a Neo Geo core?

Somehow the original XBOX is able to emulate it with only 64M of RAM, but maybe they are using some kind of virtual memory system.

Yes, it works well on mine also, but not all cores support 15KHz. The Apple II is one of them... It was that way on MiST also.

Try loading the Japan or American version, usually one works.

Nope, Japanese version is "Gunhed" also with the same problem. ROM is fine, this is some issue with the core..

This ADF of USA Bubble Bobble worked on my old MiST- I played it all the time. On MiSTer Minimig, it gurus during the boot. I've already verified the kickstart version does not matter, nor the chipset type or memory config. well.. i didn't use my MiST long time, and to be 100% sure i've fired it up...

Setting up the 2nd sd card is done in like 5 minutes and after that it is an ease to play with the Atari 800.

MiSTer rig for sale

Sorry if this is the wrong location for this. I am in the USA and recently bought a DE10-nano kit, SDRAM memory board (XS, 1.1) and a set of IO boards (unpopulated). I found out that several of the cores I wanted to play with (Atari 800) need a second SD card that is on the IO board- that is a pain!...

Re: amstrad cpc 6128

It would be nice if this worked with FAT16-formatted SD cards. I know it would be better if the ones that only worked with FAT16 should fix to work with FAT32, but there are more of those. AMSTRAD seems to be the only one requiring FAT32. :)

I tried this many times also and finally discovered "FAT" format in Windows 7 is not right. Use "SD Formatter" to do it, then copy beeb.mmb first, then core. It does work... I had the same issue.

Re: CP/M on MiST?

I'll give the AMSTRAD setup a try. I assume it would need work to utilize a joystick port as serial instead? Or this that even possible? It looks like the joystick ports are attached to the main ARM cpu in the MiST, not directly connected to FPGA? EDIT: I see there is a serial port on MiST (SV2) tha...

Are there any cores which emulate a very basic Z80 or 8080-based computer that runs CP/M? Bonus points for something that outputs to a serial port somehow to attach a terminal, or emulates one with the VGA output...
