Re: Hataroid (Harati for Android)

I can't remember what version this was based on, but I did this around Feb (so probably the 2.2.1 version). Falcon support is enabled, but I don't think I hooked up TT support yet. It's still too slow, but I remember being able to play Racer 2 nicely with the dummy dsp enabled. If anyone wants to tr...

Re: Hatari on tablet device

I haven't looked into it yet, but it's not possible before Android Nougat (without custom firmware).
Android Nougat finally added some support for overriding the mouse cursor icon so I can probably set the cursor to a transparent bitmap to make it not visible for newer versions of Android.

Re: Hataroid (Harati for Android)

Sorry I haven't had time to work on it for a very long period, but I haven't abandoned it :P There's no major issues with the current version so any planned changes are really to support additional feature requests (like android tv) and any bugs that come up. I will be moving over to the latest Hata...

Hi mistralblue,
I'll have a look at the two player support once I get some time to start working on the android version again.

Re: Hatari on tablet device

The emulator is working, but even if I turn off all write protections in the settings menu the emulator is not able to write to my gemdos drive. What am I doing wrong? Sorry for the late reply, you only need to make sure you have the 3 gemdos settings set up: - Attach GEMDOS drive [enabled] - GEMDO...

Re: Hatari 2.0 beta to test for windows

Very strange indeed :) Does it change if you start Hatari from the other (bigger) monitor before going mono ? But I'm not sure I can do anything about this at the moment, I don't have 2 monitors and I don't use windows :) Yeah, still happens when I start from the other monitor. I've done some more ...

Re: Hatari 2.0 beta to test for windows

Tested on Windows8-64bit. Mostly runs fine.

Only issue I've found so far is that fullscreen mono tries to span across multiple screens for some reason, color monitor is fine. (It worked properly in v1.90)

Re: Hatari on tablet device

Thanks for testing it out AtariZoll. - The plan was to have fully customizable UI where you can add/remove and drag the different controls around the screen. I haven't had time to do that, but I can add left/right joystick option in the next version pretty easily. - There's an old option to use tap ...

Re: Hatari on tablet device

@unseenmenace - Thanks for clearing that up. Yeah, I used the one from the wiki page and photoshop'd out the scancodes. I think I emailed you about it a couple of years ago. Hopefully the credits in the help screen is correct. - You currently can't control the mouse cursor with the thumbstick, but i...

Re: Hatari on tablet device

Great. Would be cool to have also additional options like Pause, Cold Reset, Warm Reset etc. under "Configure Shortcut Keys". One more question, would be possible to add a new button - left mouse button double click? That feature is implemented in Hatari (under middle mouse button) and it...

Re: Hatari on tablet device

Another question. In the GEM dialog boxes have a default button ("OK" on the screen shot below), which can be activated with "Return"/"Enter" key . This is a cool feature due to it's easier/quicker close a dialog box with "Return" than use a mouse. I see an e...

Re: Hatari on tablet device

thanks. what do you think about adding CRT TV filters? http://filthypants.blogspot.com/2010/12/crt-pixel-shader-filter-for-snes.html I actually put this in quickly as a test a long while ago before I got really busy. I'm not sure if this will work on all devices yet, but the CRT shaders require a d...

Re: Hatari on tablet device

Would be possible to auto hide Hataroid buttons in fullscreen mode e.g. after 5 seconds? They are a bit annoying during watching demos. Screenshot_2015-11-03-16-08-30.png I'll add an option in the next version when I start working on Hataroid again so it will auto hide after 5 seconds and auto show...

Does anyone know if Fright Night ended up getting released on Atari ST and if there is a disc image of it somewhere we can play?
Thanks.

Re: Atari ST Gamer Magazine Issue 2 OUT NOW!!!

Really enjoyed reading this. Thanks for making such a great mag. Beautiful art and layout throughout the magazine. I loved the Converted and Believe it or Not sections. One thing that I would have liked is to have more paragraph breaks as some of the text was a bit hard to read without them. Hope yo...

Hi, New to Hataroid and forums... This software is fantastic! Thanks to all involved. Re: Gotek Floppy Emulator

Cool! Will the hxc firmware work on the 720k version?
I've got the SFRM72-FU-DL model, not sure if it has the same internals as the 1.44mb version mentioned by others here.

Thanks,

Yep, they still work great. :)
I also tried saving and loading from memory snapshots and they seem to work fine as well.

Thanks so much!

Re: Hatari midi compatibility

Hi I just pushed my latest midi changes to the main dev repo. From what I can see, the TDRE bit at $FFFC04 is now handled much more correctly, I can't see the previous overflow and the results I get for twinkle.mid and demo8.son look very similar to the video you posted above. Also, magical.mid / o...

Re: Hatari midi compatibility

That's great news! :)

I've been using the old cpu core (I always just run ./configure and then ./make).
I've double checked the Makefile and it's using the old one correctly.

Looking forward to trying out the fixes when you push them.

Thanks,

It's not a virus,
It's an anti-virus program :P

If you're worried about it, you can just delete it from the Auto folder on the disc (it's called assassin.prg)

Re: Steem virtual serial link

You can try using a serial2serial emulator (links up multiple apps via virtual serial ports):

http://sourceforge.net/projects/com0com/

If you're using windows 8, you'll need to disable driver signing to install this though.

Re: Convert Cubase ARRs and Songs to SMF1

I've tried Cubase 3.01 from that site before on Hatari 1.80 in OSX and it works fine loading and playing an arrangement without crashing. What TOS version are you using? I'm just using TOS 1.02 uk, standard ST settings (1mb - 4mb should be fine), mono display. You shouldn't need to change the cpu fr...
