Thanks

It was a CD sold by Softwareservice Seidel in the late 90's that just contained two programs: NeoN 3D and Overlay.

Sadly, not all Atari magazines are included in IA's classic mag collection:

Tariland

Not many people outside New Zealand probably know about the Tariland Computer Club and its fanzine - and I know about Tariland, because I wrote an article for their special issue. You can find the issue here: https://archive.org/details/TarilandDec1999 Don't have any other Tariland fanzines, but the...

Re: Face Value Guide

I always equated FV to MS Visual Basic, it takes care of all the GUI stuff so it leave you to do the program logic. That makes programming very easy and VB exploded with tremendous amount of software for the Wintel since anyone and everyone can make a program. it would be great if FV did the same f...

Re: Face Value Guide

Did you try the faceVALUE sample programs?

FV is quite simple to use if you have experience with a RCS editor and GFA-Basic. I used it for most of my programs and some of them are very basic - take the input from an edit object, do some calculation, output the result to another text field.

Nice! I've never used Regent Base, although it had a German distributor. But Adimens had a whole ecosystem of supporting apps.

So, a comeback for Regent Base, Geneva and Neodesk? :D

I think Chagall was a very good application, too. So why not adding it to this list? I've got version 2.0 in german. But I think that wasn't the latest one. Maybe that version 2.11 was the latest one? You're right - Chagall 2.11 is the last version.if you want I can put on the list:-) That would be...

Archiving software in good quality is easier than archiving print magazines. If you get hold of a copy that is ;) That's the true challenge. Re: The Atari ST (and others) and the Creative People

Marco's book was published in English because there are a lot more people able to read English vs. German. A Kickstarter for a German-language book would've most likely failed. Despite some flaws, both books - Marco's and Marty's - contain a lot of research and passion for the respective subjects. A...

GEM games usually work at a fixed resolution i.e. the graphics don't scale up. Only some games offer bigger alternative tiles.

Asteroids should scale up (vector graphics) and GEM Elite TNK was quite impressive.
