Unfortunately from experience (falcon boxes) shipping starts from around £30 to US if I remember correctly.

Re: Atari 1040 ST Woody - water transfer project

Hi All, Thanks for the kind words, really appreciated. It was a real fun project to do for sure. To be honest I didn't know how everyone else would take it though. Yes, this new free website is off for 1 hour, which I wasn't aware of before registered. I'm trying to find the best solution to host my...

Re: Atari 1040 ST Woody - water transfer project

Just to be clear I was talking about feeding the cable through some kind of cord....you know like the cord on an iron. I did get what you mean. I haven't explained it fully. I had this thought as well but maybe didn’t chose the right material, so I am opened to any suggestions. I made few mistakes ...

Re: Atari 1040 ST Woody - water transfer project

Saw the YT video. So I now know what's water transfer is about. LOL I always thought it was a big piece of sticker paper and the guy had a very steady hand sticking them on. There is also a method ( the film is called monokote if I'm right) where you wrap your object with a film kind of thing and u...

Yes, please! I'd really appreciate more pictures and details on the process, including where you bought the material you used from, brands, etc. If you update your page with such information please let me know! I keep looking at the pictures and I'm totally blown away by the result. How did you do ...

Re: Atari 1040 ST Woody - water transfer project

Yes, It is I went to see the extra pictures. But I have no idea what is it means... i am totally dumb at painting / printing technologies. I need to Google. Ah ok, sorry. Yep it is better to discover on your own than me trying to explain. One YT video can say more than 100 words. You can even creat...

Wow Looks great !! how it is done? It's briefly explained on the link at first post. Water transfer printed or hydro dipping - whatever you prefer. Hey Robson, I know this is off-topic but is there a chance you could explore the transputer workstation a bit more? I wonder if you could even contact ...

Re: Atari 1040 ST Woody - water transfer project

Impressive collection of computers! I like your black ST as well. How durable are the painted surfaces and water transferred surfaces? The film sticks strongly, they use it on car rims as well so it's all about aftercare. The best is to protect with clear varnish glossy or matt, depending on your p...

Re: Atari 1040 ST Woody - water transfer project

Re stickers: I've already had the Illustrator file since I made the Black ST and the Chrome before (can be seen on the website). I just had to find a company that prints low volumes on transparent and with white ink. So sent the custom graphics and that's it, they printed it. I also took the opportu...

Hi - first post, but only because I've registered to say I'd like to order a box if they go into production! Great. I keep this post updated. There are many other good stuff here to browse. What's your location? As I said it's worth checking postage costs. I can't send them flat packed anymore beca...

Re: Atari 520/1040 ST F/FM/E repro boxes - In the making

Sign me up for a TT and Mega STe box! Also, I make the boxes for the cables myself, if this will ever become reality, I need quite a bit of those as well ;) and what about the small boxes for the mouse itself? I think the main practice was to sell the mouse without the STM1 box with these. I defini...

are falcon boxes still available...? also - any chance for TT boxes..? No more falcon boxes left for sale. I have filled them up with falcons. TT can be an option in the future. Mine has no box either. But I have a fully boxed mega ste that can be used as a reference. I would imagine costs would be...

Put me down for two. I'll collect like last time if that's ok? Take a look at your ATW-800? :) Sure. No problem with that. This is another great product! Thanks. A couple thoughts. Perhaps offer inserts for 260/520ST that would fit into the same box. Adding additional section boxes on the side. Wha...

Atari 520/1040 ST F/FM/E repro boxes - In the making

Hi, After the Falcon, STBook and other ST box I decided to give this one a go. This will be a universal box for the built-in drive models (even Falcons fit). On the side there will be a product selector where you can mark the model you have in there. Design is pretty much there, I'm looking for the ...

Almost forgot about this one. Thanks. Much appreciated. Hi, Please get in touch if you can send me high res images (and maybe measurements) of the battery cover for the CDAR's remote. I am thinking to make a 3d model of it for print and make it available too. Thanks. The forum refuses my images! The...
