Re: Gamedvd 2.0

Hello, Marcer. Could you please send me the link to your FTP or the mirror of the DVD. I searched for the old demo game I played on my fathers ST 520 about twelve years ago. Then the floppy was lost and I was unable to find it because I forgot the name (only remembered that it sounded like 'hexagon...

World Conquest

Another non-original disk. Game loads fine and disk image includes both the extracted files as well as a self-extracting TOS file.

Walls of Illusion

Not sure if this is of interest or value. I imaged a non-original floppy and this was on the disk. Game is an RPG and disk is currently missing from Atarimania. I have also uploaded to the Atarimania FTP. Can't state if the game files are complete but it loads up and plays. Enjoy. WallsOfIllusion[Mo...

Re: Dalek Attack

This game was also tested in my STE with TOS 2.06 and 68HC CPU processor and worked fine. Testing the STX and SCP dumps in STeem SSE seemed to not work 100% in that it skipped the intro section on disk 1. When I booted the disks in my STE disk 1 shows two intro sections whilst playing the Dr Who the...

Preserved these from non-working disks after giving them a clean and now sharing with everyone. This game is not yet available on Atarimania so enjoy playing it.

Re: BAD DMA - Myth or fact ?

Sorry, had to check which STE had the chip. Have just dug out the STE, created the War Heli disk from the SCP image and booted it up. I have only played the first level and it works fine with the new CPU. :D Many thanks. If it was the original copy protected version of War Heli, then my guess is th...

Re: FlashFloppy vs HxC

My Gotek with HxC firmware works fine in my STE with TOS 1.62. Found that TOS 2.06 caused most game images to not load so switched back to TOS 1.62. I also cannot load .ST disk images with the HxC firmware. I can only load .HFE floppy images. ST files visibility in normal mode fixed in the 3.1.1.3a...

Now I have the STE on my desk, let me know which other games I should test. As long as the SCP is available I can duplicate the disk and test.

Re: BAD DMA - Myth or fact ?

Yes, I still have the STE which I swapped the CPU. I would be happy to do some more testing to help confirm if the CMOS chip is not 100% compatible. I have an SCP and KF flux board and can duplicate most disks if you have the images. Bump ... Just curious, were you able to run any test? Sorry, had ...

Re: BAD DMA - Myth or fact ?

Just an update from me. I have an STE which was corrupting the files on my Satandisk when I copied files to the drive from floppy. I have finally replaced the CPU with a MC68HC000FN8 and have just sucessfully copied a large amount of files around without seeing the corruption occur. :D Btw, do you ...

Re: FlashFloppy vs HxC

If HFE is fine, it is not much of a problem. HFE works fine for the HxC firmware. I don't know if FF can handle HFE files with 11 spt, though. I just created an 11 sector (902kb) HFE disk image using the HxC Emulator software and my FlashFloppy Gotek works fine with this disk image. I copied a fold...

Hi

Saboteur III .ST file in the RAR download does not work for me in STEEM or when I try and open it with the HxC Floppy Emulator. Might be damaged .ST?

How are you finding flash floppy? Do you have HxC aswell? I have both. I have a Gotek with the latest HxC firmware loaded as well as a Gotek with the FlashFloppy firmware. I like browsing the disk image files and folders with an OLED display attached. I recommend using an OLED display and they are ...

Re: Monkey island disk 1, uncracked.

I had a similar issue and it turned out that the hub had come unstuck from the magnetic media and so the disk was not actually spinning. Just the hub. I ended up with a blank disk image as well. AtariZoll advice is good. Download a disk image from Atarimania and convert it to .ST format as the disk ...

FlashFloppy Gotek firmware updated to v0.9.3a

Thought I would share this as this works well on a Gotek and supports HFEv3 disk format.
