Re: New ST project - Pole Position arcade conversion

Also is there a reason why the gameplay structure doesn't follow the qualify then race format of the arcade? This version starts with the 'prepare to qualify' speech but takes you straight to the race as there are other cars on the first lap and the lap doesn't finish after 1 complete run of the ci...

Re: New ST project - Pole Position arcade conversion

It's so close to being spot on but I'm still a +1 for the wheel movement as it gives the feeling of speed. Also is there a reason why the gameplay structure doesn't follow the qualify then race format of the arcade? This version starts with the 'prepare to qualify' speech but takes you straight to t...

Re: The Atari ST (and others) and the Creative People

From the point of view of the producer it just comes down to money and personal standards. Personally if I didn't have the money to produce something in a second language that contained a good translation then I wouldn't do it for fear of poor feedback. And from the point of view of the consumer if ...

Does that include the body of the mouse or just the board that goes inside?

Not for iPad unfortunately, emulators on iPad are pretty scarce in general because of Apple's walled garden, unless the developer hides one inside another app which I've seen for SNES emulation.

Android or Raspeberry Pi is the way to go for Atari Emulation if you want something more portable
