I have a Sony Multiscan which works for most of the cores (except I think the Archimedes). It might be worth tracking one down.

Sharp X1 community?

I have a friend from Japan with a Sharp X1 microcomputer, and recently got it out of mothballs to test it. It's working, but the monitor is rolling. Does anyone know of a Sharp group that he can contact for advice on the issue?

Re: YM Stand Alone Sound Modules? I want one!

The MiST is great (I use it for MIDI sequencing) but be aware that there are only two MIDI ports. The timing is at least as tight with the MiST as an ST, even in STeroids mode. It's great fun and not so expensive. Great programs to play with are: Cubase Lite, AEX, and Music Mouse (a toy really). The...

Re: [MiST] [ST Core] Is there any way to slow down the mouse speed?

I'm not buying a new mouse. This should work with a standard mouse, because they're... well... standard.

FYI Someone else has recently opened an issue on the github repo:

Any mouse I plug in flies around the screen like it's on crack. Is there any way I can reduce the sensitivity of the mouse?

In the full Sting installation, there are the header files and libraries you'll need to link to.

There is also some source code there for the ping application amongst others.

Re: Frontier: Elite II on 48MHz Falcon runs too fast

I've done this once :-P The game tick time reference is called from the VBl handler. All you need to do is to add a Timer C handler (200Hz), and call it every 4th time from there. I might attempt it, but not with one of the most tightly coded games of all time. Fortunately, there looks like there's...

Frontier: Elite II on 48MHz Falcon runs too fast

Now this definitely is the case, but the game appears to be running too fast (the music is too fast and the animations are too). Has anyone else noticed this on their accelerated ...

None of the links to patches work though :(

UPDATE: Manually hacking the links from http://dbug.kicks-ass.net/patches/2007/frontier.zip to http://dbug.mooo.com/patches/2007/frontier.zip works though, the best site for hard-drive enabled game is still available!
